"At the beginning, I think people needed someone [to be a mouthpiece] because it was all a bit dull," frontman Liam Fray told NME about his reputation in the media. "I wouldn't say I played up to it; I'd say I was like every other person in the country after they've had five pints. I'm not an arsehole or rude, I'm just honest. People think I'm this bolshy guy and it's very difficult to not do that when I'm on stage, because I can't imagine going out in front of 25,000 people and staring at my feet. But offstage, I don't feel I'm like that. I genuinely feel like I'm more of a bedroom loner at times."

The Courteeners' full upcoming UK tour dates are below. Tickets to the November tour are on sale now, while tickets to the Manchester Old Trafford show are on sale from 9am on Friday 21 October.

Rapper Lil Jon claims Donald Trump made racist comments towards him on 'Celebrity Apprentice'
Rapper Lil Jon has claimed that Donald Trump made racially-charged remarks towards him when he appeared on Celebrity Apprentice.

Lil Jon (real name Jonathan Smith) took part in the eleventh season of the show in 2011, with reports recently surfacing that Trump had referred to Lil Jon as 'Uncle Tom' when he was dressed as Uncle Sam, the symbolic personification of America.

Uncle Tom was the title character of Harriet Beecher Stowe's 1852 novel Uncle Tom's Cabin. It has since become a negative epithet to mean a black man who appeases white people.

Commenting on the reports in a statement posted to Twitter, Lil Jon said: "When this 'Uncle Tom' incident happened on Celebrity Apprentice in the boardroom several of my cast mates and I addressed Mr Trump immediately when we heard the comment."

"I can't say if he knew what he was actually saying or not, but he did stop using that term once we explained its offensiveness."

The rapper added: "I also want to be clear that I don't agree with many of the statements Mr. Trump has said during his current run of President."

Fan proposes to girlfriend in front of Green Day at in-store signing
Green Day have shared a video of a fan proposing to his girlfriend in front of them at an in-store record signing.

The romantic gesture took place last week, much to the delight of surrounding fans and the band themselves.

Aw, that was amazing, said frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, reacting to the proposal. Unreal. Thank God she said yes.

Meanwhile, Green Day recently confirmed to NME that work on the long-awaited movie adaptation of their seminal 2004 album 'American Idiot' is progressing well.

"Weve got a green light from HBO, and the script is currently going through a couple of rewrites here and there, so Im not sure when exactly were going to start shooting, but its definitely all systems go at the moment," Armstrong told NME.

Phil Collins has announced his live return, confirming a five-show stay at London's Royal Albert Hall for 2017.

News of the 'Not Dead Yet Live' tour was announced at a press conference held at the venue, which featured a Q&A hosted by Jools Holland.

Collins retired from playing live in 2002, citing injuries to his back and arms caused by years of playing drums. He went on a brief reunion tour with Genesis in 2007, but has since been absent from performing concerts.

Now Collins has confirmed a five night stay at the Royal Albert Hall for next June. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (October 21).

Collins announced in October 2015 that he was coming out of retirement to play shows. He said that his sons Nicholas and Matthew were aged 14 and 10, and wanted to see their father play shows. Collins commented: They were in nappies when I was last on the road. They love my music, and Id love to take them out on the road.

Since that announcement, Collins has only performed at a handful of charity shows. His last album of new music was Testify in 2002, when he announced he was retiring before the albums accompanying tour, which was called My First Farewell Tour.

Liam Gallagher compares Noel to ABBA and calls him a 'little toad'
Liam Gallagher has again hit out at brother Noel Gallagher on Twitter, comparing his former Oasis bandmate to ABBA and calling him a "toad".

The Gallagher brothers have had a tense relationship since the Britpop group's 2009 split, with Liam recently criticising Noel publicly, calling him a potato, a "scary clown", describing him as the "Ronnie Corbett of rock" and comparing his brother's dress sense to that of Gary Barlow.

Taking to Twitter at the weekend, Liam slammed Noel for recent comments he made about Oasis, saying "money money money that's you ABBA aka NG". See his tweet in full below.

We were this we were that I was great I'm still great fuck of you little toad money money money that's you ABBA aka NG— Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) October 16, 2016

Liam recently "held the olive branch out" to Noel, saying that he wants to repair the relationship with his elder sibling for the sake of their mother.

Liam told The Sunday Times: "Obviously [our mum would] like us to be chatting, sit around the table at Christmas. But its a stupid standoff, and we should know better, as we have kids. It would be nice for me and [Noel] to get back together as brothers. But its good, the standoff. Im enjoying it. I aint backing down. He aint backing down."

"At least people are still talking about it. Theyre obsessed," he added. "Theres no harm in it. He says shit about me. I say shit about him. I have held the olive branch out, and there has been nothing, so there you go. Potato it is, mate."

Liam recently opened up about his troubled relationship with Noel and revealed the one thing that's stopping the long-rumoured Oasis reunion.

Earlier this month, bookies suspended betting on Oasis reforming in 2017, as talk of them getting back together continued to gather momentum after the release of the film Supersonic.

Azealia Banks accuses Russell Crowe of assault and making racial slurs during clash at hotel party
Azealia Banks has accused Russell Crowe of assaulting her and uttering racial slurs, while contrary reports suggest that it was Banks who was thrown out of a party hosted by Crowe after she threatened guests.

TMZ reports that Banks attended a dinner party hosted by Crowe in a Beverly Hills hotel suite, with an "erratic" Banks allegedly describing her fellow guests as "boring white men" and mocking their music choices.

'Eyewitness' accounts claim that Banks threatened guests by saying: "You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino shit."

In a now-deleted Facebook post, Banks alleged that Crowe "called me a n****r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me". She went on to add: "The men in the room allowed it to happen. I feel terrible today."

    Getty

In a statement from Azealia's representative, Banks is described as "tremendously distraught and disheartened. She is shell shocked and will speak out on the incident once she has had time to process the brutality and abuse she was unjustly subjected to."

Crowe has not responded to the allegations publicly but NME has reached out to the actor's publicist for comment.

Wu Tang Clan's RZA reportedly invited Banks to the party and TMZ report that he refutes that Crowe ever used racial slurs, instead stating that it was Banks who said the 'n-word'.

Liam Gallagher reveals what's stopping an Oasis reunion
Liam Gallagher has opened up about his troubled relationship with brother Noel, and revealed the one thing that's stopping the long-rumoured Oasis reunion.

Earlier this month, bookies suspended betting on Oasis reforming in 2017, as talk of them getting back together continued to gather momentum after the release of the film Supersonic.

But it seems the one thing getting in the way of them reforming to tour and record, is Noel Gallagher, according to Liam - rather than their bickering and insults exchanged on Twitter.

"This is a serious question and Im not bringing the mood down," he told Radio X when asked about the band getting back together.

"Our kid's going around like I've stabbed his fucking cat. He wants to be in a solo band. If people think me having a dig on Twitter is whats stopping the band getting back together, theyre mad.

He added: "If they want the band to get back together theyll have to ask our kid. Its down to our kid."

When you're a little geezer and you've got small man syndrome, you need that fucking like 'no, yeah, no' [attention]. People keep asking him 'when's the band getting back together?' and he's going 'Never' because he can carry that whip, but I think the minute people stop asking him, he'll go 'fucking hell, what? Are they getting bored of me now?' So then he'll get the band back together. So don't fucking ask him any more.

Liam may currently be working on his first solo album, but added that theres nothing better than being in a fucking band."

He went on: "You can do your solo records, you can be wherever you want, but when you're in a band and you're playing your music to four, three geezers playing back to you, there's no better feeling.

"Just doing it on your own and playing back to yourself, yeah cool, you're going to get a hard on, but theres nothing better than watching four of your mates all together thinking 'fucking hell this is stonking.'

"I don't give a fuck what anyone says. There's nothing better than being in a fucking band."

Meanwhile, former Oasis boss Alan McGee recently told NME that the band could be likely to reform without Noel Gallagher.

"I don't think Noel will ever reform Oasis, ever - but when he's a bit older I think Liam will probably reform Oasis and he'll sell 10,000 tickets a night singing Oasis tunes and he'll be happy with that," he said. "I can't see Noel Gallagher going back and doing it. If anything came out of that film [Supersonic], it was that it's done, it's finished, don't spoil the fucking legend."

Liam Gallagher compares Noel to Hitler, and Oasis to Jesus
Liam Gallagher has compared his brother Noel to Adolf Hitler, and Oasis to Jesus Christ in his latest interview.

The former Beady Eye turned solo singer was speaking to Johnny Vaughan as part of a Q&A with Radio X - when the presenter referred to some of Noel's behaviour in the film 'Supersonic' as 'sadistic'.

He is pretty dark," replied Liam. "But then so was Hitler.

Bruce Springsteen talks deaths of Prince and David Bowie
Bruce Springsteen has spoken about the impact felt by the deaths of David Bowie and Prince, saying that he felt a "great kinship" with the latter musician.

Currently promoting his new memoir Born To Run and companion album 'Chapter And Verse', Springsteen spoke to Rolling Stone when he was asked about Prince and Bowie, who both passed away this year.

"It was a terrible shame. It was a great loss and a tragedy," Springsteen said, adding: "I felt a great kinship with Prince."

"When I'd go to see [Prince], I'd say, 'Oh, man, OK, back to the drawing board.' There was a film of him on the Arsenio Hall show, where he plays a series of songs in a row. It's just some of the greatest showmanship I've ever seen. And he knew everything. He knew all about it, and then could put it to work. Just since the Sixties and Seventies and your Sam and Daves and your James Browns, he's one of the greatest showmen to come along. I studied that stuff a lot and put as much of it to use as I can with my talents. But he just took it to another level."

    Getty

"I couldn't believe it when I heard [about Prince's] death," he continued. "Any death gives you renewed sight. It's a part of what the dead pass on to us. A chance to look at our lives and look at the world again. It's just a powerful experience."

Springsteen also recently shared his love for Green Day, hailing them as "thoughtful and intense".

"Green Day, they make great records and theyre always thoughtful and intense and they have a band that plays great together," he said in a Facebook Q&A. "My old friends from U2 are still doing just fine. They consistently sound great and are creative. I have an iPod full of things that cant come to mind right now.

When pushed on other genres he likes, Springsteen added: I like Kendrick Lamar a lot. Hes intense. Hes a great rapper, very intense. I like Kanye West, I think Kanye West makes great records. I love his records. Those are just very, very creative, amazing records.

Amy Schumer responds to 200 people walking out of comedy show following anti-Trump joke
Amy Schumer has responded after approximately 200 people reportedly walked out of her comedy gig in Tampa, Florida at the weekend.

On Sunday (October 16), Schumer performed at the US city's Amalie Arena where she was booed when beginning to discuss gun laws and the US Presidential election.

The Tampa Bay Times reports that around 200 people stood and walked out as she started to lay into Donald Trump, calling the Republican candidate an "orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster". She also invited a Trump supporter onto the stage (watch footage below).

Responding to the incident, Schumer told EW: "I loved the crowd and my show in Tampa last night! I want to thank the 8,400 people who stayed. We had a great time! We have always depended on comedians to make us laugh and tell the truth. I am proud to continue that tradition."

In her recent book The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo, Schumer described Tampa as "horrendous", adding: "Im not scared about writing that, because I know for a fact that no one who lives there has ever read a book. JKJKJKJKJK, but kind of not K."

Listen To Robbie Williams' album sampler featuring his new song written by The Killers
Robbie Williams has shared a sampler for his new album 'The Heavy Entertainment Show'.

The 10-minute sampler features snippets of every track from the album, including a 30-second clip of 'Mixed Signals', which was written by The Killers.

"The Killers' sound is unique and I think Brandon Flowers is one of the best songwriters on the planet," Williams told The Sun recently. "I was at [producer] Stuart Price's house and he'd just been working with Brandon and played me this song. He said, 'Have a listen to this.' And all the way through it I was thinking, 'I want this song.' And unbelievably they let me have it and didn't have it for themselves."

Other tracks on the album, Williams' 11th as a solo artist, include lead single 'Party Like A Russian', 'Motherfucker', 'Bruce Lee' and 'I Don't Want To Hurt You', a duet with John Grant.

The album was co-produced by Williams' longtime collaborator Guy Chambers and also features contributions from Jewel and Rufus Wainwright. Listen below - and skip to the 55 seconds mark to hear 'Mixed Signals'.

'The Heavy Entertainment Show' will drop on November 4. Three days later on November 7, Williams will play a one-off gig at London's Troxy to celebrate the Icon Award he is receiving from the BRITs.

While promoting the album, Williams has already apologised for claiming to have slept with the majority of the Spice Girls and caused controversy on The Graham Norton Show by recalling a bizarre sexual encounter with a stranger.

Listen to Elton John discuss his "dear friendship" with Eminem in preview of new Beats 1 radio show
Elton John has spoken about how he considers Eminem to be "a dear friend" of his.

John hosts a semi-regular show on Apple's Beats 1 station, titled the 'Rocket Hour'. The show, which debuted in July 2015, will air once again tomorrow (October 18), and, ahead of the airing, a number of preview clips from the new episode have been shared by Apple.

While discussing fellow Beats 1 contributor Drake's recent claim that Eminem was "the greatest rapper of all time", the veteran musician was keen to agree with the Toronto rapper's high praise.

"Eminem just did a show in which Drake introduced him in Detroit as 'the greatest rapper of all time,'" John said. "It's very hard to disagree with that. I love him, and he's a dear friend."

John will also show his appreciation for both Lana Del Rey and Crystal Castles during the show. Calling Del Rey "a really great girl [who] I love very much," John also praised Crystal Castles' most recent album, 'Amnesty (I)'. "It's a really interesting album, full of surprises and not your normal record. I like it very much."

Listen to the clips in question below.

Last week, the 69-year-old announced that he will soon publish a "no-holds-barred" autobiography, although a release date has yet to be confirmed.

"I'm not prone to being a nostalgic person," John said in a statement that accompanied the announcement. "I'm often accused of only looking forward to my next gig or creative project. It's come as quite a surprise how cathartic I am finding the process of writing my memoirs. As I look back, I realize what a crazy life I have had the extreme privilege of living."

Listen to Queen's rare "fast version" of 'We Will Rock You'
Queen have released a lyric video for the rare "fast version" of their iconic song 'We Will Rock You'.

The "fast version" of 'We Will Rock You' will feature on upcoming compilation Queen On Air, which collects together six BBC radio sessions the band recorded between 1973 and 1977. The sped-up take on the song was laid down by the band during a session for John Peel in 1977.

Producer Jeff Griffin recalled: "'We Will Rock You', now that was fun, particularly fun for me and my engineer Mark Robinson, because the band said, 'Look, we need as many voices on this as possible, so we want you two to come in and sing in the studio.' Mike and I were a bit reluctant at first, not that we minded singing I sing in a choir and Mike sings old Irish songs but it's not quite the same as going in a studio with Queen."

He added: "It was a great session, and certainly the two Johns [Peel & his producer Walters] were very pleased with it when they heard it and when it went out. When you consider that this was now the era of punk, into which John had bought quite heavily, I think it caused quite a bit of a stir at the time because people were surprised that it would be going out on the John Peel Show among all the other things."

Queen On Air is available as a 2-CD set and a 3-LP vinyl edition, plus a Deluxe 6-disc edition featuring a CD of live concert broadcasts and 3 CDs of radio interviews. All versions will be released on November 4.

Chic featuring Nile Rodgers announce one-off London Christmas show
Chic Featuring Nile Rodgers have announced that they're set to play a special one-off Christmas show in London.

The 'Good Times' disco pioneer and Daft Punk collaborator will be performing at London's Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith Friday 23 December - at a charity show to raise money for Autism Rocks. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Wednesday 19 October.

This will be Rodgers and co's first UK appearance since headlining FOLD Festival back in the summer, which he curated. Meanwhile the 'Let's Dance' collaborator has teased that he's been working with Beck and Sia and his new album.

Following the death of David Bowie, Rodgers spoke to NME to pay tribute to his friend and collaborator.

Its still shocking to me. Its hard to accept it, but Ive had a lot of tragedy in my rocknroll life," he said. "David Bowie introduced me to Stevie Ray Vaughan and I gave the eulogy at Stevie Rays funeral. We were doing a record and he and his brother left for a show and only one came back. With David, our relationship was a very interesting one in that people dont realise that weve done quite a bit of music together. Everyone talks about Lets Dance but they never talk about Black Tie White Noise and Miracle Goodnight and China Girl and Modern Love and Ricochet and all this other stuff. Weve done a lot of music. So I feel, in a strange way, that we were in a holding pattern. When I work with artists Im so immersed in the project that it feels like all Im doing is living and breathing it for a while and as soon as that records over Im on to the next thing, Im immersed in the next persons life.

"But because were tied together forever Id always call and say, Hey, were playing here, do you think David will come out and do a couple of songs with us?. I was in contact with them, we called the office right away but I respect peoples boundaries, I dont try to push myself on people."

Bob Dylan hasn't replied to Swedish Academy since he won the Nobel Prize
Bob Dylan has apparently yet to respond to the Swedish Academy since they awarded him the Novel Prize.

Credited with having "created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition," Dylan, 75, was announced as this year's recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature last week. The award is given to an individual who has produced "in the field of literature the most outstanding work in an ideal direction".

Leonard Cohen, The Rolling Stones and Tom Waits have all congratulated Dylan on his historic win, but the musician himself has yet to get in touch with the Academy to arrange practicalities.

"Right now we are doing nothing. I have called and sent emails to his closest collaborator and received very friendly replies. For now, that is certainly enough," the Academy's permanent secretary, Sara Danius, told state radio SR earlier today (October 17), according to The Guardian.

Dylan has been invited to Stockholm to collect his prize from King Carl XVI Gustaf on December 10, but according to the Academy he has yet to confirm his attendance at the event alongside 2016's other Nobel Prize winners.

"I am not at all worried. I think he will show up," Sara Danius said, before adding: "If he doesn't want to come, he wont come. It will be a big party in any case and the honour belongs to him."

Scrapped Metallica video game from 2003 was inspired by 'Mad Max' and 'GTA 3'
Details about the scrapped Metallica video game, Damage Inc: Metallica, have been uncovered in a new YouTube video.

The Metallica-approved game was being developed in 2003 with the intention of being released on PS2, Xbox and PC by 2005. But the game's producers, Climax Brighton (more recently known as the now-defunct Black Rock Studio), were unable to complete the project, leading to it being cancelled altogether.

As Digital Spy reports, YouTuber PtoPOnline has managed to uncover a working build of Damage Inc: Metallica that he has run through in a new video upload.

As well as demonstrating what Climax were intending to produce in terms of the gameplay (a post-apocalyptic driving game), PtoPOnline also revealed that the producers cited the likes of GTA 3 and the Mad Max films as creative inspirations for the project.

It also appears from the newly-uncovered footage that Metallica's sole attachment to the project was the lending of their name to its provisional title - it is unclear whether the band were ever meant to actually feature more prominently in the game.

A combination of problems - including licensing issues and publisher Vivendi's eagerness to kill the project - meant that the game was never completed.

Watch the full gameplay video below.

The long-serving metal band recently announced that they were seeking out fans to appear in their next music video.

Rizzle Kicks: "The whole Ched Evans situation is fucking vile"
One member of Rizzle Kicks has shared his thoughts on the controversial verdict in the Ched Evans case.

Welsh footballer Evans, 27, was cleared on Friday (October 14) of raping a 19-year-old woman in a hotel room in Rhuddlan, Denbighshire in May 2011.

He had been convicted in April 2012 and spent two and a half years in prison, but his conviction was quashed on April of this year by the Court of Appeal, who ordered a retrial.

Many high-profile commentators, including former solicitor general Vera Baird QC, have said that details of the woman's sexual history should not have been heard in court during the retrial.

Baird said after the verdict that the decision to make this evidence admissible in what retrial judge Lady Justice Hallett ruled was a "rare case" could set back the law in this area "about 30 years".

In a statement shared on Twitter, one member of Rizzle Kicks declared the verdict "fucking vile" and expressed concerns over the fact the woman's sexual history had been heard in court.

"What's a woman's sexual history got to do with whether or not she was raped?" he wrote. "That insinuates that if a girl likes sex she can't be raped?? That makes me feel ill. What the fuck is going on?" Read the full statement below.

'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' director Gareth Edwards to be a keynote speaker at SXSW 2017
The director of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Gareth Edwards, has been announced as one of the keynote speakers at next year's South by Southwest (SXSW) festival.

Edwards has directed the first film in the Star Wars 'Anthology Series', which is set for release on December 16. Its first full length trailer was released last week.

As reported by Variety, Edwards will speak at the Austin, Texas event, which is being held next year from March 10 to March 19. The director joins the likes of Beats 1's Zane Lowe, author Adam Grant and the co-creator of the hit Netflix show Transparent, Jill Soloway, as keynote speakers at the famed annual cultural conference.

Speaking about the announcement of Edwards and the other speakers, Hugh Forrest, SXSW's chief programming officer, said the choice reflects "a lot of the bigger-picture trends we think will be getting the most buzz in March 2017.

These trends include innovation in the transportation space, the rise of artificial intelligence, more emphasis on innovation within healthcare, and an increase in creative industry inclusion, Forrest said. Of course, the biggest trend for SXSW is always the convergence of the technology, music, and film industries, as different people from different sectors gain incredible value by sharing new ideas and new approaches to common challenges.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first in Disney's 'Anthology Series' of Star Wars spin-off films that will continue in 2018 with the currently untitled Han Solo prequel movie due. It was announced in July that rising star Alden Ehrenreich has been cast as a younger version of the character made famous by Harrison Ford.

A third 'Anthology series' film will follow in 2020.

'The League Of Gentlemen' reunion episode 'wanted by BBC'
The BBC is reportedly "very receptive" to the idea of a return from The League Of Gentlemen.

One of the cult comedy's creators, Mark Gatiss, said during a BBC 6Music interview last week that and his co-stars are "hoping" to reunite, adding: "We've talked seriously about doing something - we're not quite sure what it is yet but we'd love to do something, it is 10 years [since we last did something together]..."

Now the Radio Times reports that BBC insiders are "highly receptive" to this idea and would welcome a "special" reunion episode, quoting an unnamed source as saying: "The door would be open to a special return but it's up to them."

Gatiss also suggested last week that it could be timely for The League Of Gentlemen to return now, explaining: "I think increasingly, talking about prescience, we have become a local country for local people and I wonder if there is something Brexity in us that we can do. Michael Gove's resemblance to Edward from the local shop is not a coincidence."

Gatiss created the cult comedy series with Steve Pemberton, Reece Shearsmith and Jeremy Dyson, and starred alongside Pemberton and Shearsmith as a variety of grotesque characters living in the fictional northern village of Royston Vasey.

After beginning as a 1997 radio series, The League Of Gentlemen ran for 19 episodes on BBC Two between 1999 and 2003. The League were last seen together in an acclaimed spin-off film, The League Of Gentlemen's Apocalypse, which hit cinema screens in 2005.

Azealia Banks has reportedly filed a battery report against Russell Crowe
Azealia Banks has reportedly filed a battery report against Russell Crowe after accusing him of assaulting her and uttering racial slurs.

TMZ, which first reported on the alleged incident, now says that Banks went to the police yesterday afternoon (October 16) after Crowe refused to apologise for what allegedly happened.

Banks wrote on Facebook earlier today (October 17): "I have receipts. Stay tuned."

Representatives for the actor have reportedly told TMZ that Crowe declined to apologise because he insists he did nothing wrong. Contrary reports suggest that it was Banks who was thrown out of a party hosted by Crowe after she threatened guests.

TMZ first reported that Banks attended a dinner party hosted by Crowe in a Beverly Hills hotel suite on Saturday night (October 15), with an "erratic" Banks allegedly describing her fellow guests as "boring white men" and mocking their music choices.

In a statement from the rapper's representative, Banks is described as "tremendously distraught and disheartened.

'Stranger Things' actor addresses character's sexuality
Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp has addressed speculation surrounding his character Will's sexuality.

Some fans of the show have suggested that Will could be gay because bullies have aimed homophobic slurs at him, but in a lengthy post on Instagram the actor said that he hopes Will's sexual preferences remain ambiguous.

"A good book, or a good show leaves a lot of unanswered questions but makes you think," Schnapp wrote. "Which is what you are all doing. For me, Will being gay or not is besides the point. Stranger Things is a show about a bunch of kids who are outsiders and find each other because they have been bullied in some way or are different."

He continued: "Does being sensitive, or a loner, or a teenager who likes photography, or a girl with red hair and big glasses, make you gay? I'm only 12 but I do know we all relate to being different. And that's why I think the Duffers wrote the show the way they did. So you can ask all these questions. I hope the real answer never comes out!"

Joe Keery's Steve and Noah Schnapp's Will have been upgraded to series regulars for season two of Stranger Things, while two new actors have recently been added to the show's cast.

So I thought it would be time to jump into the conversation. I've been reading stuff for a while. I think everyone here is missing the point. An author called Gary Schmidt came to speak at our school this week and he said that good stories aren't supposed to leave you with answers because then you never question yourself and you forget about it. A good book, or a good show leaves a lot of unanswered questions but makes you think. Which is what you are all doing. For me, Will being gay or not is besides the point. Stranger Things is a show about a bunch of kids who are outsiders and find each other because they have been bullied in some way or are different. Nicki Minaj insists she didn't "slam" Kanye West over 'Gold Digger' lyric
Nicki Minaj has denied "slamming" her 'Monster' collaborator Kanye West in a new magazine interview in which she quoted a line from his 2005 song 'Gold Digger'.

Speaking to Marie Claire about racial injustice, Minaj is quoted as saying: "I'm so tired of black women feeling that when our men get rich, they're going to leave them for a woman of a different race."

She continued: "It wasn't funny when Kanye said [in 'Gold Digger'], 'When he get on, he'll leave your ass for a white girl' - and Kanye happens to be with a white girl now. It wasn't funny when he said it; it was the fucking truth."

Quoting a web article which implied she was "slamming" West with these comments, Minaj wrote on Twitter today earlier (October 17): ""Slams" a man/genius who gave me one of the biggest looks of my career? I said he wasn't kidding, he was speaking the TRUTH about d industry."

"I was saying he's the one who said it first. He doesn't apologize for his choices. He tells the truth about stuff ppl don't wanna hear!" Minaj added in a follow-up tweet.

Watch 'Family Guy' send up Donald Trump and Billy Bush's infamous bus ride
Family Guy has weighed in on the US election, with a skit in which Peter Griffin takes part in the now infamous bus ride conversation between Donald Trump and US TV host Billy Bush.

In the clip, Peter makes jokes about what is and isn't locker room talk, Trump's tiny hands and his downmarket choice of Tic-Tacs as a breath mint, despite being a billionaire.

As the skit continues, Peter comes up with the idea for Twitter, suggesting Trump could use it "to bash ladies and minorities at 3AM", and also claims to have invented Uber.

Trump has come under fire in recent weeks for comments made in the past about women and minorities. Rapper Lil Jon is the latest to hit out at the Republican presidential candidate, accusing him of making racist comments when Lil Jon was a contestant on the Celebrity Apprentice in 2011.

Meanwhile, Trump has taken to Twitter to complain about Alec Baldwin's widely-praised impression of him on Saturday Night Live, saying: "Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me. Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!"

The 1975's Matt Healy shared his thoughts on the political rise of Donald Trump at the band's gig in Los Angeles on Friday night (October 14).

Speaking from the stage, the frontman urged American young people to ensure they use their votes next month to avoid a Brexit-like shock when the nation chooses between the Republican presidential candidate and Hillary Clinton on November 8.

"This year - politically, democratically, we completely fucked it up," he told the crowd. "Listen, I'm not here to talk about politics, but what I'm gonna say is what happened in our country is that a younger generation left the responsibility... we thought the older generation was going to be empathetic and understanding and responsible and do the right thing... and it didn't."

"And everything kind of backfired, and everyone who hadn't voted felt like a twat," he continued.

"You're very very close to a very very fucked up situation," Healy then warned the crowd. "I can see literally thousands of young liberal, hopefully intelligent young people here. Look, we still got a shock. Fuck Donald Trump, you have to vote! This is the world calling: Vote!" Watch fan-shot footage below of Healy's appeal to the crowd below.
