Could Kings Of Leon play Glastonbury 2017?
As Glastonbury 2017 rumours continue to gather momentum, now Kings Of Leon have thrown their hat into the ring among the potential headliners.

While last week saw 'well sourced information' point towards Daft Punk, Radiohead and Stone Roses being the headliners, now the 'Sex On Fire' rockers have teased that they may also be looking to make an appearance.

King Of Leon last headlined back in 2008, but now drummer Nathan Followill has teased to the BBC that they're ready to return.

"We love Glastonbury," he said. "I think that was the first festival we ever played in Europe. Do they still do it where it's on one year, off one year to let the grass grow?"

When told that 2018 would be a fallow year where Glasto takes a break, he replied: "OK, then we'll have to get on it in 2017. I'll have to text Mr Eavis."

Liam Gallagher shares his thoughts on the 'scary clown' craze
Liam Gallagher has shared his opinions on the ongoing 'scary clown' crazy that continues to sweep the country.

Copycats in the UK have been following the lead of viral pranksters in the US, by dressing as clowns and scaring passers-by - with reports of some attempting to lure children into the woods. Many citizens have been fighting back, with one even dressing as Batman to tackle the clowns.

After he called brother Noel a 'scary clown' in yet another Twitter attack, former Oasis and Beady Eye frontman turned solo star Liam Gallagher has defended the craze.

"I think they're all right. I like a clown," he told Radio X. "I dont find them funny, but some of them put a lot of time and effort in. I'd rather have a clown than the back end of a donkey.

He continued: If youre going to be a fucking clown be a proper fucking clown. Dont be half a clown.

I think leave the clowns alone.

Meanwhile, Liam also added that Noel was the one thing getting in the way of an Oasis reunion - saying: "Our kid's going around like I've stabbed his fucking cat. He wants to be in a solo band. If people think me having a dig on Twitter is whats stopping the band getting back together, theyre mad.

"If they want the band to get back together theyll have to ask our kid. Its down to our kid."

He also compared Noel to Adolf Hitler, and Oasis to Jesus Christ.

Phil Collins opens up about the extent of his drumming injuries
Phil Collins has opened up about the full extent of his drumming injuries, and whether he's ever likely to get behind the kit again ahead of his long-awaited comeback tour.

Yesterday saw the Genesis turned solo icon announce his long-awaited return to the stage with the 'Not Dead Yet Tour' - including a residency at London's Royal Albert Hall. He's also rumoured to appear at Glastonbury.

Speaking at a press conference at the Royal Albert Hall with Jools Holland, Collins revealed his mysterious affliction that has stopped him from playing drums.

"I'll never play the way I used to," he said. "Something happened on the Genesis reunion tour. At the end of each show, I had a drumming duel with Chester Thompson, and one night something happened. It just went. I tried everything - bigger drumsticks and so on, but it just never came back. It's a mystery what happened, I just couldn't get it back. But I'm 65 and I played drums since I was five. I'd like to have the choice about being able to play, but I'm not going to cry myself to sleep about it.

"I had back surgery a year ago, I'd messed my hips up as well. That was a year ago and as of now I have a dropped foot, which means I have no feeling in it. I walk with a cane, but I'm hoping that gets better."

Collins also revealed that his son Nicholas would be taking over drum duties for the upcoming tour, adding: "He's learned from watching John Bonham, Chad Smith and me, so he's got some balls when he plays. He takes notes very well. It can obviously be awkward when it's family, they might not take criticism, but Nick is great at taking advice.

"We've played three short charity shows in Europe together, seven-song things, and the band have been very impressed with him."

Phil Collins' upcoming 'Not Dead Yet' tour dates are below. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 21 October.

    London, Royal Albert Hall (June 4, 5, 7, 8, 9)
    Cologne, Lanxess Arena (11, 12)
Paris, Accors Hotel Arena (18, 19)

Leonardo DiCaprio is turning 'Captain Planet' into a movie
Leonardo DiCaprio looks set to remake classic '90s kids' show Captain Planet as a movie.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that Paramount have approached Jono Matt and Scream Queens star Glen Powell to write the script, after the rights to the show lapsed while Sony were working on a similar project.

Oscar-winning actor and environmentalist DiCaprio is heading up the project. The 'Titanic', 'Wolf Of Wall Street' and 'The Revenant' star is currently promoting new film 'Before The Flood' - which sees him travel the globe to explore and reveal the true impact of global warming.

Fittingly, Captain Planet was a superhero who entrusted a group of humans as 'Planeteers' - giving them magic rings and encouraging them to 'take pollution down to zero' with the slogan 'the power is yours'.

Last week, the tracklist for the soundtrack to 'Before The Flood' was unveiled - scored by Trent Reznor and Mogwai. Meanwhile, DiCaprio came under fire from Donald Trump his support of Hilary Clinton - claiming he's 'not hot any more'.
