Amy Schumer responds to 200 people walking out of comedy show following anti-Trump joke
Amy Schumer has responded after approximately 200 people reportedly walked out of her comedy gig in Tampa, Florida at the weekend.

On Sunday (October 16), Schumer performed at the US city's Amalie Arena where she was booed when beginning to discuss gun laws and the US Presidential election.

The Tampa Bay Times reports that around 200 people stood and walked out as she started to lay into Donald Trump, calling the Republican candidate an "orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster". She also invited a Trump supporter onto the stage (watch footage below).

Responding to the incident, Schumer told EW: "I loved the crowd and my show in Tampa last night! I want to thank the 8,400 people who stayed. We had a great time! We have always depended on comedians to make us laugh and tell the truth. I am proud to continue that tradition."

In her recent book The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo, Schumer described Tampa as "horrendous", adding: "Im not scared about writing that, because I know for a fact that no one who lives there has ever read a book. JKJKJKJKJK, but kind of not K."

Bruce Springsteen talks deaths of Prince and David Bowie
Bruce Springsteen has spoken about the impact felt by the deaths of David Bowie and Prince, saying that he felt a "great kinship" with the latter musician.

Currently promoting his new memoir Born To Run and companion album 'Chapter And Verse', Springsteen spoke to Rolling Stone when he was asked about Prince and Bowie, who both passed away this year.

"It was a terrible shame. It was a great loss and a tragedy," Springsteen said, adding: "I felt a great kinship with Prince."

"When I'd go to see [Prince], I'd say, 'Oh, man, OK, back to the drawing board.' There was a film of him on the Arsenio Hall show, where he plays a series of songs in a row. It's just some of the greatest showmanship I've ever seen. And he knew everything. He knew all about it, and then could put it to work. Just since the Sixties and Seventies and your Sam and Daves and your James Browns, he's one of the greatest showmen to come along. I studied that stuff a lot and put as much of it to use as I can with my talents. But he just took it to another level."

"I couldn't believe it when I heard [about Prince's] death," he continued. "Any death gives you renewed sight. It's a part of what the dead pass on to us. A chance to look at our lives and look at the world again. It's just a powerful experience."

Springsteen also recently shared his love for Green Day, hailing them as "thoughtful and intense".

"Green Day, they make great records and theyre always thoughtful and intense and they have a band that plays great together," he said in a Facebook Q&A. "My old friends from U2 are still doing just fine. They consistently sound great and are creative. I have an iPod full of things that cant come to mind right now.

When pushed on other genres he likes, Springsteen added: I like Kendrick Lamar a lot. Hes intense. Hes a great rapper, very intense. I like Kanye West, I think Kanye West makes great records. I love his records. Those are just very, very creative, amazing records.

Skepta has appeared on a new song from Toronto MC Smoke Dawg.

The track is produced by Drake affiliate Murda Beatz and its video sees Skepta hanging out with his Canadian counterparts. Watch below.

Last week saw Skepta team up with Riff Raff for 'Back From The Dead'. Riff Raff said of the Skepta track: "When we decided to make the best Halloween album ever we had to get the #1 ranked U.K. artist on this song. Skepta 100%."

Mercury Prize winner Skepta's album Konnichiwa, which was released back in May, beat David Bowie and Radiohead to win the Mercury Prize last month. He became the second grime artist to win the Mercury Prize after Dizzee Rascal won with his debut 'Boy In Da Corner' in 2003.

Sales of Skeptas album surged by 174% after winning the Mercury Prize. The grime MCs fourth album also climbed 40 places to number 13 in the official albums chart following the win.

The Tottenham born MC could also be in line to win three awards at this year's MOBO awards, having picked up nominations for best male, best album and best grime act.

Liam Gallagher compares Noel to Hitler, and Oasis to Jesus
Liam Gallagher has compared his brother Noel to Adolf Hitler, and Oasis to Jesus Christ in his latest interview.

The former Beady Eye turned solo singer was speaking to Johnny Vaughan as part of a Q&A with Radio X - when the presenter referred to some of Noel's behaviour in the film 'Supersonic' as 'sadistic'.

He is pretty dark," replied Liam. "But then so was Hitler.

When told that it would be nice to see Oasis reform, Liam replied it would be nice to see Jesus Christ not nailed to a cross...but shit happens.

When asked if Noel would come back for seven and a half million for charity, Liam said: The guy's got loads of money man. He's like Abba, before singing Money, money, money'.

I made that geezer loads of money. He don't give a fuck.

Meanwhile, Liam has also recently compared Noel to a 'little toad' and that his brother is the only thing stopping Oasis from reuniting.

"Our kid's going around like I've stabbed his fucking cat. He wants to be in a solo band. If people think me having a dig on Twitter is whats stopping the band getting back together, theyre mad.

He added: "If they want the band to get back together theyll have to ask our kid. Its down to our kid."

Creation Records boss Alan McGee also revealed that Oasis could be likely to get back together - with Liam leading the reformation without Noel.

'The Walking Dead' renewed for eighth season ahead of season seven premiere
The Walking Dead has been renewed for an eighth season, a week before the premiere of its seventh outing.

The Walking Dead will be returning to the UK on October 24 after launching on US network AMC a day earlier on October 23. Season six concluded back in April with a cliffhanger ending that saw an unidentified character being beaten by newly introduced character Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Entertainment Weekly reports that season eight will premiere in late 2017, kicking off with the show's 100th episode.

"Eeny, meeny, miny, more," said AMC president Charlie Collier in a statement, referencing lines uttered by Negan in the season six finale. "What a joy to partner with [creator] Robert Kirkman, [showrunner] Scott Gimple and some of the hardest-working people in television to bring The Walking Dead to the fans. And, most important, thanks to those fans for breathing life into this remarkable series right along with us."

Phil Collins says he is open to another Genesis reunion
Phil Collins has said that he wouldn't "rule out" a Genesis reunion.

Collins announced his live return at a press conference in London on Monday (October 17), confirming a five-show stay at London's Royal Albert Hall for 2017, as well as French and German gigs.

Asked at the press conference about Genesis, Collins said their 2007 reunion tour was supposed to be their chance to say goodbye. He added that writing his autobiography had reminded him of their friendship. He said: "I wouldn't want to do anything that lasted six months or a long time. But I wouldnt rule out doing something."

Genesis formed in 1967, with Collins joining on drums in 1970 and later taking over on lead vocals from Peter Gabriel. Collins releases his autobiography, Not Dead Yet, this week (October 20).

Collins also admitted during the Q&A that he will only be well enough to sing during his 2017 shows, with his 15-year-old son Nicholas taking his place on the drums.

Collins said: "I play with my fingers, and thats where the dexterity has gone. Theyve clammed up, and Im hoping to get the strength back in them. I hope Ill be able to play In The Air Tonight, as I should do that song."

Phil Collins will play the following 2017 live shows:

    London, Royal Albert Hall (June 4, 5, 7, 8, 9)
    Cologne, Lanxess Arena (11, 12)

Little Mix accused of of copying G.R.L on 'Shout Out To My Ex'
Little Mix have been accused of 'copying' G.R.L.'s 'Ugly Heart' on their new single 'Shout Out To Mix'.

The new song was debuted on X Factor this weekend, but many listeners have commented on the track's similarity to G.R.L.'s single from 2014 - notably, the band themselves:
    #ShoutOutToUglyHeart— G.R.L. (@grl) 16 October 2016

Many others either noticed the similarity, or taken to Twitter to pick whose side they're on:

Chic featuring Nile Rodgers announce one-off London Christmas show
Chic Featuring Nile Rodgers have announced that they're set to play a special one-off Christmas show in London.

The 'Good Times' disco pioneer and Daft Punk collaborator will be performing at London's Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith Friday 23 December - at a charity show to raise money for Autism Rocks. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Wednesday 19 October.

This will be Rodgers and co's first UK appearance since headlining FOLD Festival back in the summer, which he curated. Meanwhile the 'Let's Dance' collaborator has teased that he's been working with Beck and Sia and his new album.

Following the death of David Bowie, Rodgers spoke to NME to pay tribute to his friend and collaborator.

Its still shocking to me. Its hard to accept it, but Ive had a lot of tragedy in my rocknroll life," he said. "David Bowie introduced me to Stevie Ray Vaughan and I gave the eulogy at Stevie Rays funeral. We were doing a record and he and his brother left for a show and only one came back. With David, our relationship was a very interesting one in that people dont realise that weve done quite a bit of music together. Everyone talks about Lets Dance but they never talk about Black Tie White Noise and Miracle Goodnight and China Girl and Modern Love and Ricochet and all this other stuff. Weve done a lot of music. So I feel, in a strange way, that we were in a holding pattern. When I work with artists Im so immersed in the project that it feels like all Im doing is living and breathing it for a while and as soon as that records over Im on to the next thing, Im immersed in the next persons life.

"But because were tied together forever Id always call and say, Hey, were playing here, do you think David will come out and do a couple of songs with us?. I was in contact with them, we called the office right away but I respect peoples boundaries, I dont try to push myself on people."

Azealia Banks accuses Russell Crowe of assault and making racial slurs during clash at hotel party
Azealia Banks has accused Russell Crowe of assaulting her and uttering racial slurs, while contrary reports suggest that it was Banks who was thrown out of a party hosted by Crowe after she threatened guests.

TMZ reports that Banks attended a dinner party hosted by Crowe in a Beverly Hills hotel suite, with an "erratic" Banks allegedly describing her fellow guests as "boring white men" and mocking their music choices.

'Eyewitness' accounts claim that Banks threatened guests by saying: "You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino shit."

In a now-deleted Facebook post, Banks alleged that Crowe "called me a n****r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me". She went on to add: "The men in the room allowed it to happen. I feel terrible today."

    Getty

In a statement from Azealia's representative, Banks is described as "tremendously distraught and disheartened. She is shell shocked and will speak out on the incident once she has had time to process the brutality and abuse she was unjustly subjected to."

Crowe has not responded to the allegations publicly but NME has reached out to the actor's publicist for comment.

Wu Tang Clan's RZA reportedly invited Banks to the party and TMZ report that he refutes that Crowe ever used racial slurs, instead stating that it was Banks who said the 'n-word'.

Liam Gallagher compares Noel to ABBA and calls him a 'little toad'
Liam Gallagher has again hit out at brother Noel Gallagher on Twitter, comparing his former Oasis bandmate to ABBA and calling him a "toad".

The Gallagher brothers have had a tense relationship since the Britpop group's 2009 split, with Liam recently criticising Noel publicly, calling him a potato, a "scary clown", describing him as the "Ronnie Corbett of rock" and comparing his brother's dress sense to that of Gary Barlow.

Taking to Twitter at the weekend, Liam slammed Noel for recent comments he made about Oasis, saying "money money money that's you ABBA aka NG". See his tweet in full below.

We were this we were that I was great I'm still great fuck of you little toad money money money that's you ABBA aka NG— Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) October 16, 2016

Liam recently "held the olive branch out" to Noel, saying that he wants to repair the relationship with his elder sibling for the sake of their mother.

Liam told The Sunday Times: "Obviously [our mum would] like us to be chatting, sit around the table at Christmas. But its a stupid standoff, and we should know better, as we have kids. It would be nice for me and [Noel] to get back together as brothers. But its good, the standoff. Im enjoying it. I aint backing down. He aint backing down."

"At least people are still talking about it. Theyre obsessed," he added. "Theres no harm in it. He says shit about me. I say shit about him. I have held the olive branch out, and there has been nothing, so there you go. Potato it is, mate."

Liam recently opened up about his troubled relationship with Noel and revealed the one thing that's stopping the long-rumoured Oasis reunion.

Earlier this month, bookies suspended betting on Oasis reforming in 2017, as talk of them getting back together continued to gather momentum after the release of the film Supersonic.

Rapper Lil Jon claims Donald Trump made racist comments towards him on 'Celebrity Apprentice'
Rapper Lil Jon has claimed that Donald Trump made racially-charged remarks towards him when he appeared on Celebrity Apprentice.

Lil Jon (real name Jonathan Smith) took part in the eleventh season of the show in 2011, with reports recently surfacing that Trump had referred to Lil Jon as 'Uncle Tom' when he was dressed as Uncle Sam, the symbolic personification of America.

Uncle Tom was the title character of Harriet Beecher Stowe's 1852 novel Uncle Tom's Cabin. It has since become a negative epithet to mean a black man who appeases white people.

"At the beginning, I think people needed someone [to be a mouthpiece] because it was all a bit dull," frontman Liam Fray told NME about his reputation in the media. "I wouldn't say I played up to it; I'd say I was like every other person in the country after they've had five pints. I'm not an arsehole or rude, I'm just honest. People think I'm this bolshy guy and it's very difficult to not do that when I'm on stage, because I can't imagine going out in front of 25,000 people and staring at my feet. But offstage, I don't feel I'm like that. I genuinely feel like I'm more of a bedroom loner at times."

Liam Gallagher reveals what's stopping an Oasis reunion
Liam Gallagher has opened up about his troubled relationship with brother Noel, and revealed the one thing that's stopping the long-rumoured Oasis reunion.

Earlier this month, bookies suspended betting on Oasis reforming in 2017, as talk of them getting back together continued to gather momentum after the release of the film Supersonic.

But it seems the one thing getting in the way of them reforming to tour and record, is Noel Gallagher, according to Liam - rather than their bickering and insults exchanged on Twitter.

"This is a serious question and Im not bringing the mood down," he told Radio X when asked about the band getting back together.

"Our kid's going around like I've stabbed his fucking cat. He wants to be in a solo band. If people think me having a dig on Twitter is whats stopping the band getting back together, theyre mad.

He added: "If they want the band to get back together theyll have to ask our kid. Its down to our kid."

When you're a little geezer and you've got small man syndrome, you need that fucking like 'no, yeah, no' [attention]. People keep asking him 'when's the band getting back together?' and he's going 'Never' because he can carry that whip, but I think the minute people stop asking him, he'll go 'fucking hell, what? Are they getting bored of me now?' So then he'll get the band back together. So don't fucking ask him any more.

Liam may currently be working on his first solo album, but added that theres nothing better than being in a fucking band."

He went on: "You can do your solo records, you can be wherever you want, but when you're in a band and you're playing your music to four, three geezers playing back to you, there's no better feeling.

"Just doing it on your own and playing back to yourself, yeah cool, you're going to get a hard on, but theres nothing better than watching four of your mates all together thinking 'fucking hell this is stonking.'

"I don't give a fuck what anyone says. There's nothing better than being in a fucking band."

Meanwhile, former Oasis boss Alan McGee recently told NME that the band could be likely to reform without Noel Gallagher.

"I don't think Noel will ever reform Oasis, ever - but when he's a bit older I think Liam will probably reform Oasis and he'll sell 10,000 tickets a night singing Oasis tunes and he'll be happy with that," he said. "I can't see Noel Gallagher going back and doing it. If anything came out of that film [Supersonic], it was that it's done, it's finished, don't spoil the fucking legend."

Morrissey gets non-vegan sandwich named after him in protest to meat ban at his gigs
Morrissey has had a meat-filled sandwich named after him in a protest to his ban of meat products at his live shows.

Last month, Morrissey performed at Riot Fest in Chicago, where food vendors were reportedly asked to stop cooking and selling meat during his two-hour set out of "respect to Morrissey and his animal rights activism".

A local website has spoken to food vendors Puffs of Doom, who say they thought the ban was "ridiculous", accusing the singer and his management of "bullying" small businesses.

Co-owner Luke Petillon said that he doesn't have any issue with Morrissey's veganism but disliked "the way he tried to push his views down the public's throats".

"It bullied these little businesses that are already having a hard time hacking it. What it doesn't do is actually change anything," he added.

Puffs of Doom has now named a sandwich in the former Smiths frontman's honour, called the 'Pork Morrissey'. It consists of pulled pork plus four types of cheese.

Meanwhile, Morrissey recently held a pop-up shop in a dog adoption centre in New York. A fee and percentage of all profits from the shop went towards Sugar Mutts, a non-profit organisation.
