Alan McGee on whether Liam Gallagher's solo album will be as good as Noel's
Alan McGee has opened up about what he expects from Liam Gallagher's debut solo album - hailing him as a great songwriter and his past work as 'as good as anything that Noel's ever done'.

McGee, who first signed Oasis to Creation Records in 1993, was speaking to NME about Liam's upcoming debut solo album - and how it might be likely to compare to the two already released by brother Noel Gallagher.

"It'll probably be very good," McGee told NME. "This idea that Liam can't write songs is bollocks. He wrote a song called 'Flick Of The Finger' for Beady Eye and it was as good as anything that Noel's ever done. This idea that Liam can't write a song is fucking bullshit."

When how much he thinks Liam is likely to 'experiment', McGee replied: "I think it will be Liam. The press will probably fucking hate it but they hate everything anyway. I don't think people care any more. Music's judged by social media now, not by The Guardian."

Earlier this month, bookies suspended betting on Oasis reforming in 2017, as talk of them getting back together continued to gather momentum after the release of the film Supersonic. Liam has since revealed his desire to 'patch things up' with his brother and former bandmate for their mother's sake, he's also taken to Twitter to attack him for missing the premiere - slamming him again as a 'shit bag'.

Meanwhile, McGee will be taking part in War Child's upcoming special film screenings and Q&As as part of their upcoming Rockumentary series, with LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Inspiral Carpets and many more.

McGee will be in conversation with director Danny O'Connor at the screening of Upside Down: The Creation Records Story at Everyman Screen On The Green on 1 November. For tickets and more information, visit here.

Lily Allen tells critic: 'Your grandchildren will be apologising for you like Germans do for Nazis'
Lily Allen has told a critic of her apology on behalf of the UK to child refugees in Calais that their 'grandchildren will be apologising for you and your hatred in years to come - just like the Germans do for the Nazis'.

This week, Allen made headlines after appearing on the BBC for Victoria Derbyshire's show when she met children staying at the migrant 'jungle'. Among the 1,000 youngsters living there without parents, Allen met with a 13-year-old boy who fled Afghanistan where he says 'the Taliban were trying to kill me'.

After he unveiled the extent of his ordeal and that he would try to smuggle his way into the UK after authorities would take too long to process his move, the 'Smile' singer broke down in tears and said: "At three points in your life [the UK] has put you in danger. We bombed your country, put you in the hands of the Taliban, and now put you in danger of risking your life to get into our country. I apologise on behalf of my country, for what we've put you through."

Allen has spent much of the last 24 hours defending herself and her actions against critics and online abuse, telling Twitter "it's not about me or my life, it's about the lives of children".

Now, after one critic Tweeted "the antics of that no mark @lilyallen !! Where the F does she get off apologising for the UK! Not in my name, you idiot!", the singer replied with "your grandchildren will be apologising for you and your hatrid in years to come.just like the Germans do for the Nazis."

Allen has also urged her followers to donate: Please donate here https://t.co/JjzdGBnu0L if you can, these people need as much help and protection they can get.— lily allen (@lilyallen) October 13, 2016

Allen's trip to the Calais refugee camp was organised by Help Refugees UK. You can donate to the cause here.

Meanwhile, Ed Harcourt, Carl Barat, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and The Magic Numbers head up a benefit gig for child refugees in London next month.

David Crosby continues attack on Kanye West as he labels rapper's Glastonbury set 'shitty'
David Crosby has continued his criticism of rapper Kanye West, dismissing the star's controversial 2015 Glastonbury Festival performance.

Last year, the former Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young member labelled West a "poser" and claimed that West "can't write, sing or play". He later called Kanye an "egomaniac" who is "dumb as a post", "helps no one" and "creates nothing".

Now, speaking to Stereogum, Crosby explained his love for social media, saying: "I like talking to people. I like Facebook and Instagram, too, but I function best on Twitter because Im a words guy. I like communicating with people. Its fun for me. I dont answer questions if theyre too dumb."

He went on to say: "I get in trouble there, mind you. I get in trouble there saying Kanye West has absolutely no talent and is a complete poseur. I get in trouble there saying Donald Trump is a walking intelligence-free zone. But I have fun."

    Getty

Asked about his disdain for West, Crosby replied: "It has a lot to do with him at Glastonbury [which he headlined in 2015], saying he was the greatest living rockstar and taking that Queen song ['Bohemian Rhapsody'] and singing it so shitty. When Freddie Mercury sang the shit out of it. I frankly think hes just a poseur. I dont think he can write, sing, or play. Any of the three."

Quizzed on if there were any rappers he liked, Crosby named Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda, saying "hes fine with me".

In May, Crosby mocked Neil Young for allegedly letting Donald Trump use his music.

'Stranger Things' creators say they read fan theories and that some of them are right
Stranger Things creators have admitted that they read fan theories about what could come in the show's second season.

Netflix recently confirmed that it has renewed Stranger Things for a second season. Season two will feature nine episodes, one more than the first, launching on Netflix at a date in 2017 which has yet to be announced.

The Duffer Brothers - Matt and Ross Duffer - have spoken to The Hollywood Reporter ahead of season two. Speaking about the episode titles listed in a recent teaser trailer (watch below), Matt said: "Theyre ambiguous enough that no one is going to be able to figure it out. Some of the fan theories online are amazing. Most are wrong, but Ive read a few that are right or very close. Is it Reddit? Some of those people have figured stuff out based off of the chapter titles."

Ross went on to say: "Some of these theories are elaborate and smart. They're not crap. I love reading this stuff... We search Twitter, even though were not on it."

"Its really gratifying," Matt added. "Because, while you're making it, you're sometimes only getting feedback from two or three people... so it was insane to see it go out into the world and be experienced by that many people."

"Were trying not let it change our process. The good thing is that we have most of the story broken out before anyone started tweeting or writing about the show. Of course, a lot of what people want is already in the second season."

Elsewhere in the interview, the pair confirmed that the show had been recommissioned even before its first season aired and that they had been writing the second season all summer.

"Season one does almost feel like a big movie that comes to a sort of ending," Matt explained. "A lot of that was based on the character of Will and the repercussions of him being in this upside down world for a week. Exploring that would be the second season. Once we got into the room for season two, we started expanding our mythology. We never got boxed in, because were dealing with an alternate dimension. It feels like the possibilities are limitless. Were building up the mythology in a way that we know now where we want the story and these characters to end. We have more of a game plan now than we did two years ago."

Hear Pusha T diss Drake in new song 'HGTV'
Pusha T appears to diss Drake in his new track 'HGTV'.

The song, produced by Mike Will Made-It, comes with a Yung Jake-directed video. Watch below.

In the track, Pusha T raps: "It's too far gone when the realest ain't real / I walk amongst the clouds so your ceilings ain't real / These n***as Call of Duty cause their killings ain't real / With a questionable pen so the feelin' ain't real".

The lyrics allude to ghostwriting claims directed at Drake, referencing the Toronto rapper's mixtape 'So Far Gone' and 2013 album 'Nothing Was The Same'. The artwork of the latter saw Drake depicted "amongst the clouds". Pusha also makes reference to Lil Wayne's 'No Ceilings' in the lines.

Pusha T and Drake's beef dates back to 2012 when Pusha released a song called 'Exodus 23:1', which saw him appear to diss Drake over one of Drake's own beats. Drake later alluded to Pusha in concert, rapping: "If you was doing 16s when I was 16 and your shit still flopped and you switched teams, don't talk to me my n**ga".

'HGTV' also sees Pusha T defend his Good Music signing Desiigner from criticism of plagiarism. Many have pointed out Desiigner's similarities to Future, but Pusha argues: "The same rappers talkin' next year will be Uber drivers".

Read the first cut from the book below:

Every lyric Ive ever written has a story behind it. All the hard work that went into the creation of Pillowtalk was worthwhile because, as soon as it was finished, I intuitively felt I was on the right path. It was a sick cut, nailing the exact sound I wanted to capture in my music. I was also able to sing about a subject that I hadnt really been able to go near while I was in One Direction: sex.

Stream The Who's unreleased track 'The Girls I Could Have Had'
The Who have shared a previously unreleased song.

The band release a remastered super deluxe edition of 1965 debut album 'My Generation' on November 18.

It includes three unreleased tracks, including this newly unveiled cut 'The Girls I Could Have Had'. The song was recorded as a demo by Pete Townshend in his Chesham Place flat, the same place he wrote 'My Generation'.

Townshend says of the song: "I have often said about my early songs that I tried hard to appeal to Rogers sense of late teenage machismo. Either that, or I attempted to sound like Jan & Dean so that Keith Moon who was a surf music fan would get behind the song. Here, a rather machismo and bragging song slipped away because it was more about me than Roger Daltrey, and certainly not a surf number. Its about my lack of success with girls when I lived at Chesham Place, partly because I spent all my time in my studio. Roger did very well with girls; it would never have worked for him to sing this lyric. The lyric is also fantastical. I make it sound as though I was turning down girls every day. In real life I was probably piqued that rarely happened. My tape machine was my mistress."

    Listen via Spotify below.

Meanwhile, The Who compared themselves to Justin Bieber and Adele during their headline set on the third night of Desert Trip festival in California.

Townshend introduced their first US hit 'I Can See for Miles' by saying that it was "such a long fucking time ago," before adding, "We were 1967's version of Adele or Lady Gaga or Rihanna or Bieber."

He went on to say: "Roger and I are so glad to be out here at our age. And I couldn't do it without Roger."

Slipknots Clown changes his name after clown attacks
Slipknot percussionist Clown has changed his stage name in the wake of the clown attacks throughout America and Britain.

Clown, real name Shawn Crahan, has announced he will now be known as Mime until the coast is clear.

He made the announcement after a wave of copycat knife attacks by people dressed as clowns, which started in the US and have spread to the UK, where a number of schools have been placed on lockdown in fear of further incidents.

The name change statement was made by Slipknot singer Corey Taylor, who hit out at the attacks. Taylor told BBC2s topical comedy show No Such Thing As The News: Even our dear Clown has downgraded himself to Mime, in order to distance himself from these hedonistic doppelgangers until the coast is clear.

Taylor said he was angered by the clown attackers intimidation, adding: Remember, a real clown doesnt need a knife to intimidate just a bat and a good cold stare.

No Such Thing As The News is a spin-off of QI, written and presented by QI researchers Dan Schrieber, Andrew Hunter-Murray, Anna Ptaszynski and James Harkin. Taylor is a guest on the new series of QI, which starts on BBC2 next Friday (October 21).

Clowns name change comes as Crahan releases a trailer from a film he has directed. Officer Downe is based on a graphic novel of the same name by Joe Casey and Chris Burnham. It stars Sons Of Anarchy actor Kim Coates as Downe, a Los Angeles police officer killed in the line of duty, who is resurrected by the government to tackle crime in the city. Its released in the US on November 18.

Slipknot are currently on tour in South America, moving to Australia and Japan in November.

Nicki Minaj slams 'hypocrite' Sharon Osbourne for comparing her 'Anaconda' cover to 'cheap porno'
Nicki Minaj has hit out at Sharon Osbourne for what she deems as double standards over her reaction to her 'Anaconda' single artwork.

Minaj released 'Anaconda' in 2014. The track's cover art featured Minaj in a thong with her buttocks facing the camera.

Speaking at the time, Sharon Osbourne said that the cover "looks like a cheap porno cover of a DVD", adding: "I love women's bodies. I love nudity, but this is cheap."

Minaj has told Marie Claire that she felt Osbourne's reaction was hypocritical, saying: "[Kim] Kardashian's naked picture came out, [Sharon Osbourne] praised it, and my fans attacked her for being such a hypocrite. So it wasn't trashy and raunchy when a white woman did it, but it was when a black woman did it? It's quite pathetic and sad, but that is my reality, and I've gotten accustomed to just shutting it down."

Osbourne had praised Kardashian's famous nude selfie, even recreating it herself on Instagram.

At the weekend, Nicki Minaj told fans lthat she would be dropping a new album at midnight, but later appeared to confirm it was just a joke.

The rapper's last album 'The Pinkprint' dropped nearly two years ago in December 2014, so fans were understandably excited when she tweeted yesterday: "Ok u know what I wasn't gonna say anything but damn ya got it out of me. The album drops at midnight. it's called #PickMyFruitOut."

She then tweeted a supposed tracklist for the album featuring a series of unlikely fruit-based song titles such as 'Mango', 'Kiwi' and, in probably the biggest giveaway of all, 'Bananas (Harambe Interlude)'. Minaj also joked that one track would feature her "favourite rapper of all time".

Replying to a fan who thanked the rapper for "always making me laugh", Minaj seemingly confirmed that 'Pick My Fruit Out' had simply been a joke. "*kisses u* love u back. All of u. Love you sooooooo fkn much. I been cryin laughin this whole time, btw... Good stuff #PickMyFruitOut," she tweeted.

Watch Noel Gallagher explain how he is a 'cat' and Liam is a 'dog'
A clip released from the Oasis documentary Supersonic shows Noel Gallagher comparing himself and brother Liam Gallagher to cats and dogs.

Ahead of its US release, Billboard has shared a clip from the film which sees Noel describe himself as a "cat" and Liam as a "dog".

Noel explains: "Cat's are very independent creatures, they don't give a fuck. Right bastards. Dogs, it's just fucking, 'Play with me, play with me, please fucking throw that ball for me. I need some company.' It's as basic as that. Can't change the way that you are."

"I'm a cat, OK. That's just what I am. I've accepted it. I'm a bit of a bastard," he concludes. Watch below.

Another clip released shows Liam threaten to "slap" a misbehaving fan.

Last month saw betting suspended on the chances of the band getting back together to tour in 2017, while former guitarist Bonehead added that he'd "be there like a shot" if a reunion seemed likely.

Stewart Lee has lengthy c**t tirade against audience member for using her phone at his gig
Stewart Lee launched a long attack on an audience member for using her phone during his London show last night (October 12).

At the start of his show at Londons 400-capacity Leicester Square Theatre, Lee had warned fans not to use their phones during the gig. He explained: I hate seeing peoples bored faces. And because the phones light up when you use them, I can see you. Theres always a bored friend who youve dragged along, thinking they were coming to see Lee Mack. Lee then warned that, if he saw anyone use a phone, hed use his microphone stand to crush it.

However, halfway through his 80-minute performance, Lee interrupted his show after seeing a woman in the middle of the audience get her phone out. He walked off stage and into the crowd, demanding: You were warned. Give me your phone. As the woman protested that she hadnt been using her phone, Lee responded: Youre lying. I saw you. Come on, give me your phone. Give me your phone. As the audience member continued to protest her innocence, Lee said: Where was that blue glow coming from, then? Your c**t? Give me your phone. You were told.

As the woman continued to say that she hadnt used her phone, Lee eventually returned to the stage, saying: You were told what would happen. Youre the kind of person wholl be run over by a bus while using an app for a bus timetable to see when the next bus is. He then resumed his routine about Game Of Thrones, which he dubbed: Peter Stringfellows Lord Of The Rings.

The show was part of a week-long residency at the theatre as a warm-up for Lees new tour, Digital Content Provider. It follows Lees successful stand-up show Stewart Lees Comedy Vehicle being axed by BBC2 this year after four series. Lee revealed during the gig that hed twice turned down offers from Sky while Comedy Vehicle was on, saying that his politics wouldnt allow him to appear on a channel owned by Rupert Murdoch.

Pink Floyd's Roger Waters announces 2017 North American tour
Pink Floyd's Roger Waters has announced a North American tour for 2017.

Having headlined Desert Trip festival last weekend, Waters has now confirmed that he'll tour the US and Canada next year.

The'Us + Them' tour will kick off in May in Kansas City, with the stint running until October. In a press release, Water says that he will perform new material during the stint: "Probably 75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme".

See the full list of tour dates here.

Waters used his set at last weekend's Desert Trip to launch a scathing attack against Donald Trump, slamming him as a 'sexist and racist pig'.

As he performed 'Pigs (Three Different Ones)' from 'Animals, Waters displayed images of Trump as a sheep, holding a dildo as a rifle, in a KKK hood, making a Nazi salute, as well as showing him with sagging breasts and a micro-penis. When he sang the line "ha ha, charade you are," the screens showed Trump's face with the word "CHARADE" written across it. A series of Trump's most infamous quotes were also displayed.

The iconic Pink Floyd inflatable pig also made an appearance, this time with the slogan 'fuck Trump and fuck his wall'.

"It's rare somebody like me gets a platform like this, so I'm going to use it," said Waters, before paying tribute to the people of Palestine and honouring the BDS Movement. "I encourage the government in Israel to end the occupation."

Gerard Way shares 'heartbroken' message after Frank Iero's bus crash
Gerard Way has shared a 'heartbroken' message after hearing the news of his former My Chemical Romance bandmate Frank Iero being involved in a 'serious' bus crash.

The guitarist was set to play Sydney's Metro Theatre with his band Frank Iero And The Patience - before being involved in a 'serious traffic accident'.

Now, Way has taken to Facebook to thank fans for their support: "I awoke to some very upsetting, sad, and serious news. Heartbroken. I know just as much as all of you but I hope the continued outpouring of love, well wishes, and support help. Make sure to hug the ones you care about. Sending all my love to Frank and the boys. - G"

"Hi friends," tweeted Iero, "thanks all for the well wishes. We're pretty banged up but miraculously alive and in stable condition. I'm still in a state of shock."

Way recently encouraged fans to take part in the upcoming Presidential election - claiming 'voting has never been so essential'.

Fans recently reacted with disappointment after an announcement from My Chemical Romance turned out to be the reissue of 'The Black Parade' to celebrate the album's 10th anniversary - which falls later this month.

Meanwhile, Gerard Way is said to be working on his second solo album, the follow-up to 'Hesitant Alien'.

Phil Collins to play massive UK comeback shows next summer?
Phil Collins is said to be on the verge of announcing his live comeback, 15 years after he played his last major solo shows.

Collins retired from playing live in 2002, citing injuries to his back and arms caused by years of playing drums. He went on a brief reunion tour with Genesis in 2007, but has since been absent from performing concerts.

However, a report on eFestivals says that Collins is rumoured to be on the verge of announcing headline shows at Isle Of Wight Festival and Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time at Londons Hyde Park. Collins live promoter John Giddings is the organiser of Isle Of Wight Festival.

There is no word as to whether the report is correct, though past eFestivals stories have been right when they tipped Kasabian and Metallica to headline Glastonbury in 2014 long before they were officially confirmed.

Collins announced in October 2015 that he was coming out of retirement to play shows. He said that his sons Nicholas and Matthew were aged 14 and 10, and wanted to see their father play shows. Collins commented: They were in nappies when I was last on the road. They love my music, and Id love to take them out on the road.

Since that announcement, Collins has only performed at a handful of charity shows. His last album of new music was Testify in 2002, when he announced he was retiring before the albums accompanying tour, which was called My First Farewell Tour.

Isle Of Wight Festival has yet to announce any acts for its 2017 line-up, having recently become embroiled in a row over staging fees at its current home at Seaclose Park. Hyde Park has announced that Green Day will headline on July 1.

Collins releases his autobiography, Not Dead Yet, next week (October 20).

Backstreet Boys are not happy about Donald Trump using 'I Want It That Way'
Donald Trump has angered the Backstreet Boys for using their music as part of his US Presidential campaign.

Trump has used many unauthorised songs since announcing that he would be running for office, being denounced by Neil Young, The White Stripes, Queen and Christine And The Queens by doing so. Other musicians to ban their music from being used by Trump include Adele, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and R.E.M.

The Daily Beast reports that Trump played Backstreet Boys hit 'I Want It That Way' "multiple times" during a rally in Florida on Wednesday (October 12).

Following the news, a publicist for the group told Daily Beast: "[The Backstreet Boys] did not approve this and we are not associated with the Trump camp".

Republican candidate Trump has come under increased scrutiny over the past week after making controversial comments about groping women. Further sexual assault allegations have surfaced since.

Meanwhile, Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher recently made drug claims about Donald Trump.

Lil Wayne: 'I dont know what racism is'
Lil Wayne has said that he doesn't know "what racism is" because of an incident when he was younger.

The rapper recently made headlines when he claimed that "there's no such thing as racism". Now, speaking to The Associated Press, Wayne detailed a time when he was 12 years old when a police officer "white as snow" saved his life.

"Yeah, he was a cop, and my life was saved by a white man. I dont know what racism is," Wayne said, adding: "Its the world out there. Its not a certain part or a certain kind or a certain culture or whatever of people, its people those people out there in that crowd".

He continued: "Im blessed to have that opportunity, so with that said I can only be honest with such a thing, I have never witnessed racism."

Elsewhere in an interview with The New York Times, Wayne appeared to dismiss the Black Lives Matters movement, saying: "To even notice whats going out there Im trying to make these words stop popping up in my head, Im trying to make them rhyme. Ive got all kind of colour lives mattering up in here green, all kinds of stuff mattering. Im trying to make sense of whats on in this world up in here [points to head]."

Wayne was also asked about new rap artists such as Lil Yachty, Uzi Vert, 21 Savage and Kodak Black. He responded: "I swear to God I didnt know you were saying peoples names just now, so that should probably answer that question. I just do my own thing."

These are President Obamas eight favourite science fiction films and TV shows
US President Barack Obama has listed his favourite science-fiction films and TV series.

Obamas list includes six films and two TV shows.

The list of films is mainly restricted to obvious classics, such as Steven Spielbergs Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Stanley Kubricks 2001: A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner, The Matrix and the original Star Wars film A New Hope from 1977.

Obamas other film was The Martian, last years Ridley Scott drama starring Matt Damon as an astronaut stranded on Mars after his crew abandoned him. Obama said of the film: It shows humans as problem solvers.

The two TV shows in his list are Star Trek and Cosmos: A Personal Voyage. Obama says he chose the original Star Trek TV series, starring William Shatner as Captain James T Kirk, because: It wasnt about technology. It was about values and relationships. It uses science-fiction to promote a humanistic ethic.

Cosmos: A Personal Voyage was a documentary, rather than science-fiction. The 1980 series by astronomer Carl Sagan influenced a generation of US TV viewers into becoming interested in space. Obama said: It fed my lifelong fascination with space.

Obama chose his list as part of his role as guest editor of Wired.

He said of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind: Its fundamentally optimistic. Of Star Wars: A New Hope, Obama said: Its fun and revolutionised special effects.

Speaking of 2001: A Space Odyssey, Obama said: It captures the grandeur and scale of the unknown. He chose Blade Runner because It asks what it means to be human and said of The Matrix: It asks basic questions of our reality, and it looks very cool.

Brian Molko ranks all eight of Placebos albums
Placebo singer Brian Molko has placed all eight of the bands albums in order of his personal preference.

Molko gave his reasons to Noisey to mark Placebos new Best Of compilation A Place For Us To Dream and nine-date arena tour in December. The band have also recently released new EP Lifes What You Make It.

Speaking about Placbos 20 years since their self-titled debut album, Molko said: Ive been doing this my entire adult life, and I dont really know how to do anything else.

Molko cited last year's 'MTV Unplugged' album as his favourite, saying: "It's one of the most important of our career. Our past could be reinterpreted and stripped down, and to me thats an indicator of a good song. Im over the moon about this record.

He named 2000's 'Black Market Music' as his least favourite, admitting: "Its the record that suffers most from having a blanket sound. Its a real sombre record, so it doesnt really conjure up euphoria, which is what I look for in music."

'A Place For Us To Dream' was released last week (October 7) and features new songs 'Life's What You Make It' and 'Jesus' Son'.

Brian Molko's list of his favourite Placebo albums:

Radioheads A Moon Shaped Pool tops US vinyl chart
Radiohead have topped the US vinyl album chart with their ninth studio album A Moon Shaped Pool.

The bands latest album narrowly missed out on the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 when it was released earlier this year, peaking at No. 3. However, sales of a newly released deluxe edition of A Moon Shaped Pool have bumped the album back to No. 11 on the charts. Of the 21,000 copies sold, the vast majority have been on vinyl (19,000), enough to propel the group to the top of Billboards Vinyl Albums chart.

The deluxe edition of A Moon Shaped Pool, announced last month, comes on two heavyweight 12" vinyl records, two CDs including two extra tracks, a length of master tape from the actual recording sessions, 32 pages of Stanley Donwood artwork and much more.

One Radiohead fan who purchased the album discovered a snippet from the original 'In Rainbows' recording sessions on a master tape that came with the package.

After a lengthy world tour for the record, the band revealed that they plan to be playing live into next year - leading to speculation of more UK dates and the usual Glastonbury rumours.

Well do some more shows next year, frontman Thom Yorke said on BBC Radio One, but I dont know exactly what yet.

Will Young: 'I suffer from post traumatic stress disorder'
Will Young has admitted that he suffers from post traumatic stress disorder.

The singer pulled out of Strictly Come Dancing earlier this week for personal reasons.

In a new interview, which was recorded months before he quit the show, Young said he developed the condition after he started performing in Cabaret in 2012.

"PTSD is a thing I learned about because I got it, I had a breakdown, after my fifth album, 'Echoes'," he told London Live's London Real programme.

"It was kind of the album I always wanted to do, and then I moved into this perfect house, and my life was perfect, and I was like, 'This could be pictured in Wallpaper magazine'."

"I was just at a loss, I had a number one album, top five single, and I thought 'Oh, this is not good, this is not going to be easy', and then just slowly began to unravel.

Young continued: "Then I went into theatre, did Cabaret for the first time, and then I got PTSD and got depersonalisation and derealisation, which is when your body can't cope with the flooding of emotions from the past, so it shuts down.

"I couldn't see my face in the mirror, I couldn't recognise places or family or friends."

The singer said that being on stage eventually helped his recovery.

"It's completely spiritual, and that is something that is beautiful, and I'd go as far as to say that probably saved my life. Knowing that authenticity. That has pulled me through having PTSD, definitely," he added.

Korn share new track Take Me from upcoming album The Serenity of Suffering
Korn have shared a new track from their upcoming new album The Serenity of Suffering.

Take Me is the fourth track the band have released from their 12th studio album, due for release on 21 October.

In September, the nu-mental group unveiled a collaboration with Skipknots Corey Taylor, titled A Different World, which also appears on their new album, their first since 2013s The Paradigm Shift.

Speaking about the new song - the third track to be shared from 'The Serenity of Suffering' - Korn frontman Jonathan Davis said that he encouraged Taylor "to do what you do" when recording his vocal part.

Taylor described the new album is "a great throwback" to earlier Korn material.

"This whole [new KORN] album, and I'm gonna brag now, because I've heard eleven songs of this, it is such a great throwback to the first three KORN albums and mixed with that maturity that they have now. Like, it's, really, really heavy. People are gonna lose their minds. It's that good."
