Watch a Radiohead fan discover original 'In Rainbows' recording on master tape
A Radiohead fan has discovered a snippet from the original 'In Rainbows' recording sessions on a master tape that came with the special deluxe edition of the band's latest album 'A Moon Shaped Pool'.

'A Moon Shaped Pool', the band's ninth studio album, was released in May. Its special deluxe edition release includes a 1/2 recording tape of an original Radiohead master tape given away as a bonus feature.

"The tape degrades over time and becomes unplayable," the band said upon announcing the release. "We thought rather than it ending up as landfill we would cut it up and make it useful as a part of the special edition. A new life for some obsolete technology. You may have silence, you may have coloured leader tape, you may have a chorus... It's a crapshoot."

Now a Texan fan named Matt Blackwell has taken his snippet to a mastering studio to discover what it features. Initially the band's producer Nigel Godrich responded to say that the snippet - which lasts for less than a second - was from the song 'Bodysnatchers'. Thom Yorke appeared to agree with this by retweeting Godrich's response. However, Reddit users later pointed out that it's actually 'Jigsaw Falling Into Place' from 'In Rainbows'. Godrich then tweeted: "My mistake! It is jigsaw - it's the fill after 'come back in focus again' - was listening on my phone before.. doh."

Watch the video of the fan getting the snippet transferred below.

Meanwhile, Radiohead have responded to rumours that they could headline next year's Glastonbury Festival.

Glastonbury Festival 2017 will run from June 21-25. Radiohead are among the favourites to top the Pyramid Stage next year, along with Guns N' Roses, Kasabian and The Stone Roses. Daft Punk and Lady Gaga have also been rumoured.

Radiohead guitarist Ed O'Brien was recently asked by BBC 6 Music if they could play next year's Worthy Farm event, to which he replied: "I would love to. I go to Glastonbury every year, its my carnival. To be asked to play at Glastonbury again would be magic. I also think Glastonbury is like our spiritual home. It is the mother of all festivals& theres nothing like that one& It would be great to play there."

O'Brien also revealed that the band are set to discuss possible tour dates for 2017, although nothing has yet been decided.

Watch Liam Gallagher threaten to 'slap' fan in 'Supersonic' film clip
A new clip has been released from the Oasis documentary Supersonic and it sees the band discussing their "hooligan" reputation as Liam Gallagher is shown threatening to "slap" a misbehaving member of the audience.

Directed by Mat Whitecross and co-produced by Amy filmmaker Asif Kapadia, Supersonic documents the rise of the Britpop band. It was released in the UK earlier in October and will get a one-night-only screening in the US on October 26. Read the NME review.

Ahead of its US release, this clip has been shared online from the film. It sees Liam and Noel Gallagher denying their reputation as being "hooligans" before showing footage from a gig in which Liam tells off a fan for throwing a bottle at the band.

Liam says in the clip: "If you're feeling a bit of a geezer, right, whoever threw the fucking bottle, lets have you up here and Ill slap you in front of the crowd. Im not here to get fucking things thrown at me - fucking coconut stall."

Watch the clip below via Pitchfork.

Last month saw betting suspended on the chances of the band getting back together to tour in 2017, while former guitarist Bonehead added that he'd "be there like a shot" if a reunion seemed likely.

Alan McGee speaks out on the chances of an Oasis reunion
Alan McGee has spoken out about the chances of Oasis reuniting - telling NME that it's more likely that Liam Gallagher will proceed and do it without Noel.

Earlier this month, bookies suspended betting on Oasis reforming in 2017, as talk of them getting back together continued to gather momentum after the release of the film Supersonic.

Now McGee, who first signed Oasis to Creation Records in 1993 and remains in close contact with Noel Gallagher to this day, has revealed to NME his thoughts of the chances of an Oasis reunion in the near future.

"Do you mean with Noel Gallagher? Absolutely zero," McGee told NME. "I don't think Noel will ever reform Oasis, ever - but when he's a bit older I think Liam will probably reform Oasis and he'll sell 10,000 tickets a night singing Oasis tunes and he'll be happy with that. I can't see Noel Gallagher going back and doing it. If anything came out of that film [Supersonic], it was that it's done, it's finished, don't spoil the fucking legend."

He continued: "It would be OK with just Liam. I'm friends with Bruce Foxton and I've had From The Jam play my venue in Wales, and it's fucking brilliant. I actually think Bruce has the best job - he's playing all the Weller songs from the '70s and people fucking love it. You forget how great a songwriter Paul Weller is until you hear someone playing a 20 song set from The Jam."

McGee added: "I love Noel and have never had a bad word with him. Liam, I love to this day - he's got more attitude than Billy Bremner - he was a Scottish footballer who'd fight with anybody. I love these guys and this was a part of my life for six or seven years and it was fantastic."

While Liam has since revealed his desire to 'patch things up' with his brother and former bandmate for their mother's sake, he's also taken to Twitter to attack him for missing the premiere - slamming him again as a 'shit bag'.

Meanwhile, McGee will be taking part in War Child's upcoming special film screenings and Q&As as part of their upcoming Rockumentary series, with LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Inspiral Carpets and many more.

"I'm amazed that anyone still wants to watch a film that came out five or six years ago, but if they do I'll 100% show up and speak for War Child, because I completely support the charity," said McGee. "From the 90s, we got involved then. It's helping kids in more stricken countries like Syria. If you've got any empathy in you at all then you'd be supportive of that."

McGee will be in conversation with director Danny O'Connor at the screening of Upside Down: The Creation Records Story at Everyman Screen On The Green on 1 November. For tickets and more information, visit here.

Ex-Beach Slang guitarist responds to sexual assault allegations
Ruben Gallego, the guitarist who recently parted ways with US punk band Beach Slang, has responded to allegations of sexual assault.

The band announced yesterday (October 11) that they had parted ways with Gallego following the claims over actions that "occurred four years ago and prior to him joining" the group. While they "want to believe Ruben", the band said that "we cannot in good conscience continue with him".

Now Gallego (pictured above, back left) has responded to the allegations in a statement issued to Pitchfork. He says that while he feels the claims are "inaccurate" he admits that "its totally possible for people to see a situation completely differently".

Gallego says: "Id like to say that whats important to me is that people stand with survivors and that we continue to foster an environment where people arent afraid to speak out against their abusers."

"Although I do feel like whats being said about me is inaccurate its irrelevant. I think its totally possible for people to see a situation completely differently and if this person feels I harmed them then thats what I care about and I want to make that right."

"I also care deeply about how this affects other victims of sexual assault specifically the ones who attend Beach Slang shows and felt that sticking around would further isolate them."

"[Band members] James [Alex] and Ed [McNulty] are the sweetest most caring people Ive ever known and I feel they did the right thing and I will always support them."

Beach Slang have told fans they will be making a donation to RAINN, the world's largest anti-sexual violence organisation, using proceeds from their latest tour, adding: "We strongly support survivors and organisations such as www.rainn.org and we encourage you to use their resources if you need help."

They wrote on Facebook and Twitter: "Beach Slang has always been and will always be a safe place for everyone. It has to be. Take care of each other."

Explaining that the guitarist's departure will affect the setup of their imminent live dates, the band also told fans: "Given the timing of this, our only option is to play as Quiet Slang (James solo acoustic)."

Beach Slang are due in the UK in early November for live shows in Glasgow, London, Leeds and Brighton. They released second album 'A Loud Bash Of Teenage Feelings' earlier this year.

Leonard Cohen says he is "ready to die"
Leonard Cohen has revealed that he feels "ready to die".

Discussing his archive of unfinished songs during an in-depth interview with the New Yorker, the legendary singer-songwriter said: "I don't think I'll be able to finish those songs. Maybe, who knows? And maybe I'll get a second wind, I don't know. But I don't dare attach myself to a spiritual strategy. I don't dare do that."

"I've got some work to do," 82-year-old Cohen continued. "Take care of business. I am ready to die. I hope it's not too uncomfortable. That's about it for me."

The New Yorker also reports that friends and musical colleagues of Cohen have said he is unlikely to appear on stage again, "except in a limited way: a single performance, perhaps, or a short residency at one venue".

Cohen is preparing to release his 14th album, 'You Want It Darker', on October 21. It will be the iconic artist's third LP in six years, having not released a record for eight years prior to that.

The album's title track was previewed earlier this year on Peaky Blinders and is now available to stream in full online.

Snoop Dogg wants to duet with X Factor's Honey G
Snoop Dogg has revealed himself as a fan of X Factor's most recent controversial act, rapper Honey G - saying that he'd love to duet with her.

The 'Signs' hitmaker has revealed that he's such a fan of the 35-year old 'North Weezy' resident that he would drop everything at a moment's notice for the chance to rap with the X Factor star in the show's final.

"I will drop whatever I have on to give them an X Factor exclusive and duet with Honey", Snoop told The Daily Star, encouraging viewers to pick up the phone and vote to keep Honey G in by assuring them that together they could give "a performance like The X Factor ain't never seen before."

Read more: Is Honey G for real, a gimmick or a bit racist?

Honey G, real name Anna Georgette Gilford, won the support of viewers after her rendition of Tupac's classic 'California Love' on Saturday Night's show.

Although through to next week's show, Sharon Osbourne's initial decision to let Honey G through to the live finals was a controversial one. Speaking to the Daily Star, Snoop defended the decision, "she knows what she is doing. She knows the public want to be entertained... What's the alternative? Listen to 12 people sing power ballads for the whole season. Simon and Sharon know that ain't going to make a fun show."

Honey G has recently come under scrutiny, with The Guardian accusing her of racism and her act as 'the modern equivalent of black face'.

Presidential debate viral star Ken Bone was in a Christian rock band
Ken Bone, the US Presidential debate audience member who went viral online, used to be in a Christian rock band, it has emerged.

The second Presidential debate took place on Sunday, with Bone asking Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump about their energy policies. The undecided voter became a hit online, mostly due to his love of red sweaters.

Now a former bandmate of Bone, Joshua Burkett, has told Mashable that the pair were in a band that played "Christian pop covers from the 90s and 00s".

Burkett described Bone as a pretty good drummer" who "had all the chicks. On Facebook, he added, My ultimate claim to fame in life will be that I was once in a band with the legend Ken Bone and that we spent two summers cruising around our hometown picking up chicks me failing and him succeeding.

Asked if Bone wore a red sweater during gigs, Burkett said: No, but he could rock a Crocodile Dundee hat like no other.

50 Cent praises London school teacher for viral freestyle rap video
50 Cent has praised an east London school teacher for his "flow" after a video of the amateur rapper spitting bars in class went viral.

Christian Foley, who goes by the rap name Just Muz and works at Cardinal Pole Catholic School in Hackney, features in a video in which he uses rap lyrics as a teaching technique in the classroom.

50 Cent later posted the clip to Facebook, writing: "He actually got some flow".

Reacting to the news, Foley said that he was "surprised" by 50 Cent's post. "Whats 50 Cent doing with his ear on the youth poetry scene of east London? How did he stumble on this?", he said.

"Im amused by the compliment, and its semi-patronising tone, Foley added. But yeah my main job is to help my students, and to focus on them, if 502s praise creates opportunities for me, and therefore them, mission accomplished, if not then it was just a cool Tuesday, and back to work."

Read David Bowie's reply to his first American fan letter
David Bowie's letter in response to his first piece of fan mail from America has resurfaced, dating back to 1967.

The letter is part of a new book compiled by Shaun Usher, called Letters of Note: An Eclectic Collection of Correspondence, Volume 2 - also featuring letters from the likes of John Lennon and Winston Churchill.

Now, unveiled by Entertainment Weekly, the letter shows a clearly humbled Bowie responding to 14-year-old fan Sandra Dodd from New Mexico - before he'd even visited America. This around the time of his debut self-titled album, before he'd even experienced his first real success with breakthrough single 'Space Oddity'.

The typewritten letter comes complete with self-aware typos and an unknowing look to the future and the phenomenal fame that awaits him in the US.

Read the letter in full below:

    Dear Sandra,

When I called in this, my manager's office, a few moments ago I was handed my very first American fan letter - and it was from you. I was so pleased that I had to sit down and type an immediate reply, even though Ken is shouting at me to get on with a script he badly needs. That can wiat (wi-at? That's a new English word which means wait).

I've been waiting for some reaction to the album from American listeners. There were reviews in Billboard and Cash Box, but they were by professional critics and they rarely reflect the opinions of the public. The critics were very flattering however. They even liked the single "Love You Till Tuesday". I've got a copy of the American album and they've printed the picture a little yellow. I'm really not that blond. I think the picture on the back is more 'me'. Hope you like those enclosed.

In answer to your questions, my real name is David Jones and I don't have to tell you why I changed it. "Nobody's going to make a monkey out of you" said my manager. My birthday is January 8th and I guess I'm 5'10". There is a Fan Club here in England, but if things go well in the States then we'll have one there I suppose. It's a little early to even think about it.

I hope one day to get to America. My manager tells me lots about it as he has been there many times with other acts he manages. I was watching an old film on TV the other night called "No Down Payment" a great film, but rather depressing if it is a true reflection of The American Way Of Life. However, shortly after that they showed a documentary about Robert Frost the American poet, filmed mainly at his home in Vermont, and that evened the score. I am sure that that is nearer the real America. I made my first movie last week. Just a fifteen minutes short, but it gave me some good experience for a full length deal I have starting in January.

Thankyou for being so kind as to write to me and do please write again and let me know some more about yourself.

    Yours sincerely,

    (Signed, 'David Bowie')

Meanwhile, a list of David Bowie's favourite vinyl records has also been unveiled - featuring the likes of Velvet Underground, Syd Barrett and more.

Bowie's 'Blackstar' collaborator Donny McCaslin is also set to release an album in his honour - after speaking out about the impact of working with him in his final days, and his lasting legacy.

A new 'best of' compilation 'Bowie Legacy' is set for release on 11 November. It has been reported that David Bowie planned 'a long list of musical releases' before he died, with the upcoming release of the 'Lazarus' musical soundtrack to feature his final ever recordings and unheard songs.

Of Mice & Men frontman speaks out about tour cancellation & battle with rare disease
Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile has spoken out about the band's recent tour cancellation and his ongoing battle with a rare disease.

The band were performing in Portsmouth at the weekend when they had to cut their set short, before revealing that they'd be flying Carlile home for treatment before rescheduling the rest of the effected shows.

Now, Carlile has taken to Instagram to share a message with fans, as well as detailing the crippling effects of his condition.

"As most of you know I battle daily with a rare fibrostic connective tissue disorder called Marfan syndrome," he said. "Due to recent issues arising from this, we have cancelled the remainder of our European tour. It breaks my heart but the band & myself have decided it was unsafe for me to continue on in this state of health. I'm being admitted to Stanford University hospital where my specialists have been informed & are prepared to figure out what exactly is wrong. I will remain there as long as needed to run tests & come up with an assessment of what exactly is causing my body & heart to seize up."

He continued: "My deepest apologies for those who were on tour with us & also those coming to our shows. I would never cancel unless a limb was falling off or it was endangering my life. Unfortunately it has become the later. Thank you to those who understand & support this decision, I promise to keep pushing & treat this as another hill to climb. My dad has flown from Costa Rica, & my team at Stanford are like family to me, so know that I am not alone. I also know I have all of you, & times like this reassure & warm my heart to know you stand with me as well. Please do not worry for me, there are multiple things more important happening in the world right now.

"Besides, God has a plan, all of this is in His hands at the end of the day and I'm ready for whatever comes next."

Christine And The Queens speaks out against Donald Trump
Christine And The Queens has spoken out against Presidential candidate Donald Trump, comparing his campaign to a 'cycle of destruction'.

The French alt-pop sensation, who is continuing her huge campaign for album Chaleur Humaine with a tour of the US - during what she calls "an interesting and dramatic, hectic phase" because of the election.

When asked who she thinks will win, she told Rolling Stone: "(I would say Hillary because I don't really believe Trump could win because I don't want to believe it, but then again who knows?

"It's like Brexit. I remember at Glastonbury, talking to about my labelmates about it, the night before, and we were like, "That can't happen; this is impossible," and then the next morning everyone was like, "What?!""

Speaking of the mood in the US, she added: "It feels like there is a cycle of destruction. There is a social anger, and people just want to show something by destroying things. But yeah, I hope Trump is not going to win. I feel like right now an intense fear of him winning even more than two weeks ago, so it's going to be quite interesting to tour. Then again I'm not doing a full, intense tour, and I think America is several realities.

"I would be interested in bringing Christine to Texas, see what happens, you know? This is what I loved about touring all the cities in France. In some cities, I was just this girl singing onstage about having a dick.

Read a list of David Bowie's favourite vinyl records
A list of David Bowie's favourite vinyl records has been unearthed.

In 2003, Bowie sifted through his collection of 2,500 vinyl LPs for Vanity Fair and composed a list of his 25 favourites. It follows a similar list of Bowie's favourite books.

"There is really no way to do a list of my favourite albums with any rationality. I do only have about 2,500 vinyls," Bowie said, prefacing the list.

"Ill look through the albums and pull together a list of those I have re-bought or am in the process of re-buying on CD. I have little time, and there are just too many to sort through. So, Ill keep pulling stuff out blindly, and if its too obvious (Sgt. Pepper, Nirvana) Ill put it back again till I find something more interesting."

Read more: Read a young David Bowie reply to his first American fan mail letter

He added: "No rules then. Ill just make em up as I go along. If you can possibly get your hands on any of these, I guarantee you evenings of listening pleasure, and you will encourage a new high-minded circle of friends, although one or two choices will lead some of your old pals to think you completely barmy. So, without chronology, genre, or reason, herewith, in no particular order, 25 albums that could change your reputation."

The list includes albums by The Velvet Underground, Little Richard, Syd Barrett and Steve Reich. Read the full list below.

Lily Allen tearfully 'apologises on behalf of UK' as she visits Calais refugee camp
Lily Allen has made an emotional statement about the migrant crisis after visiting children at the refugee 'jungle' camp in Calais.

Filmed by the BBC for Victoria Derbyshire's show, the 'Smile' singer met with children who are currently without parents at the camp. It is currently estimated that between 600 and 100 unaccompanied children are staying there.

At one point, she meets a 13-year-old boy who fled Afghanistan where he says 'the Taliban were trying to kill me'. He has the legal right to live in the UK but claims "the legal process is too slow," so is trying to enter via sneaking onto a truck and through the Channel Tunnel.

"The way I am trying works better," he said. "We wait for the truck to stop, then we get on the top. Last night we got on to the lorries and we hid ourselves. The police caught us. They started to kick us, and they slapped me."

Allen then tearfully responded: "At three points in your life [the UK] has put you in danger. We bombed your country, put you in the hands of the Taliban, and now put you in danger of risking your life to get into our country.

"I apologise on behalf of my country, for what we've put you through."

She continued: "I'm a mother and I've got two little girls. If something happened in this country and they were displaced and had to run for it, I hope other parts of the world were a little bit more helpful," Allen says, openly critical of the UK's response to the migrant crisis.

"The only thing I can think of that prevents us from acting is self-preservation. People are scared of our government having to provide funds to look after these other people and how that will affect us."

Allen added: "It's desperate. I'm shocked that this is happening, in such close proximity to where we live.

"Life is easier for me if I put this stuff out my mind," she explains in her characteristically honest manner. "That's not really a correct response to humanitarian crises."

Giggs speaks about importance of staying independent
Giggs has spoken about the positives of being an independent artist, rejecting the idea of ever signing to a label again in the future.

The London rapper released his fourth album 'Landlord' in August via his own SN1 Records. He had previously been signed to XL Recordings, with whom he released 'Let Em Ave It' in 2010. XL also distributed 2013's 'When Will It Stop'.

Last night, Giggs appeared on Apple's Beats 1, speaking with Julie Adenuga about his new album, as well as the importance of being independent.

On the success of 'The Landlord', Giggs said: "Its everyone here, thats it man. The charts thing I was happy about it, I was just happy everyone finally listened to the product".

Asked about standing alone as an independent artist, Giggs said: "It wasnt even difficult really, its just that Im kind of lazy that way, sorting out the contracts really, the business side but apart from that everything was fun. Every single part of it, every bit of it, the recording, the marketing, the freedom."

Quizzed on whether there were any labels in particular that could entice him to sign to them in the future, Giggs said: "Nothing at all, its always going to boil down to that messing about with what I do, always, because its a business. For me, I love music, its fun, Ill put something out, if it dont work Ill go again, but for them, its always going to go back to 'yeah man, we didnt make what we thought we were going to make, so do you reckon you can make something' - do you know what I mean? Like nah I dont reckon."

Listen to Skepta and Riff Raff team up on 'Back From The Dead'
Riff Raff has released new song 'Back From The Dead', a collaboration with grime MC Skepta.

It will feature guests spots from Calvin Harris, Diplo, Blink-182's Travis Barker, Lil B and Yung Lean.

Speaking to The Fader, Riff Raff said of the Skepta track: "When we decided to make the best Halloween album ever we had to get the #1 ranked U.K. artist on this song. Skepta 100%."

Amazon launches new music streaming service
Amazon has announced the launch of Amazon Music Unlimited, its new music streaming service.

The service - which has long been rumoured - boasts access to "tens of millions" of songs, plus personalised playlists and radio-style stations.

Currently only available in the US, Amazon Music Unlimited comes with a monthly subscription fee of $9.99, the same price as its main rivals.

Existing Amazon Prime customers are also entitled to a discount subscription of $7.99 a month, while users of the company's Echo speakers can subscribe for $3.99.

A UK launch date has not yet been announced.

Meanwhile, a new set of headphones which turn off when the users name is called are being developed by Amazon.

The company was recently granted permission for a pair of noise-cancelling headphones that turn off when they hear specific sounds or keywords, leaving the listener less vulnerable to hazards when out on the street.

The technology would make wearing headphones safer and more practical, allowing users to hear when a siren is approaching or be able to respond when their name is called.

David Bowies 'Lazarus: The Complete Book and Lyrics' will be released next month
The official script and song lyrics from the David Bowie musical, Lazarus, will be released in a new book next month.

Lazarus will open at the Kings Cross Theatre in London from October 25, where it will run until January 21 2017. One of the late musician's final projects, the musical first premiered in New York late last year and is based on Bowie's 1976 film The Man Who Fell To Earth, which saw the musician playing the character of an alcoholic alien called Thomas Newton.

With the London staging of the show set to commence shortly, the release of an accompanying script and lyric book for Lazarus has been announced. As Pitchfork reports, the new book, which is being published by Nick Hern Books, will contain the full script to the play, lyrics to all of the songs, and a special introduction from its Irish co-writer Enda Walsh. More information about the book can be found here.

Michael C Hall, Michael Esper and Sophia Anne Caruso will reprise their roles from the New York production of Lazarus. The full cast list can be seen here.

Bowie's final ever recordings will be heard when the official soundtrack album for the musical is released next week (October 21). The 2CD/3LP 'Lazarus Cast Album' will include three final Bowie studio recordings ('No Plan', 'Killing A Little Time' and 'When I Met You') as well as the 'Blackstar' recording of 'Lazarus'. The record will also feature cast versions of Bowie songs like 'Life On Mars?' and 'Lazarus'.

Speaking to Jeremy Paxman in 2000, Bowie expressed his desire to write musicals and plays. "When I was a teenager I had it in my mind that I would be a creator of musicals for the West End and Broadway, and people would do my songs," he said.

Bowie passed away in January following what an official statement described as "a courageous 18 month battle with cancer".

Lily Allen defends her 'apology to refugees' comment against online critics
Lily Allen has taken to Twitter to defend her comments in which she 'apologised on behalf of the UK' to refugee children in Calais.

Allen was appearing on the BBC for Victoria Derbyshire's show when she met children staying at the migrant 'jungle'. Among the 1,000 youngsters living there without parents, Allen met with a 13-year-old boy who fled Afghanistan where he says 'the Taliban were trying to kill me'.

After he unveiled the extent of his ordeal and that he would try to smuggle his way into the UK after authorities would take too long to process his move, the 'Smile' singer broke down in tears and said: "At three points in your life [the UK] has put you in danger. We bombed your country, put you in the hands of the Taliban, and now put you in danger of risking your life to get into our country. I apologise on behalf of my country, for what we've put you through."

Allen's comments have been met with waves of online criticism and abuse, and she has spent much of the day defending the programming and fighting for the rights of refugee children:

Wonder Woman is being made an honorary UN ambassador
Iconic comic book character Wonder Woman is being made an honorary United Nations ambassador.

Shortly before the DC superhero celebrates her 75th birthday in December, she will be sworn in as "UN Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls" at a ceremony at the UN's headquarters in New York City on October 31.

The ceremony will be attended by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, DC Entertainment President Diane Nelson and several "surprise guests", Comic Book Resources reports. Fans are already speculating that these could include Lynda Carter, who famously played Wonder Woman on TV, and Gal Gadot, who now portrays her on the big screen.

Gadot's debut as the iconic comic book character in this year's Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice was widely praised, with many fans suggesting she should have been given more screen time. Next year Gadot will front her own Wonder Woman movie which she has said will be "pretty dark". Directed by Monster's Patty Jenkins and co-starring Chris Pine, it's set for release on June 23.

Carter, a former Miss World USA, starred as Wonder Woman in a popular US TV series that ran from 1975 to 1979. An unseen pilot for a TV reboot was shot in 2011 but NBC decided not to order a full series.

James Arthur: 'The last three years have felt like a prison sentence'
Resurgent X Factor star James Arthur has likened the last three years of his life to a "prison sentence".

The Middlesbrough-born singer won the ninth series of ITV's long-running talent contest in 2012, then saw his debut single 'Impossible' reach Number One. Both follow-up single 'You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You' and Arthur's self-titled debut album peaked at Number Two the following year.

However, Arthur later established a reputation as something of a loose cannon and was forced to apologise after using homophobic lyrics in a diss track aimed at a rapper called Micky Worthless. He was subsequently dropped from Simon Cowell's label Syco Records.

Now re-signed to Syco, Arthur's comeback single 'Say You Won't Let It Go' has spent two weeks at Number One and he has announced a new album, 'Back From The Edge', due on October 28, as well as UK tour dates.

"For the past three years, I've felt like I've been on a bit of a prison sentence," the singer told FAULT. "Suffering from all kinds of mental health issues, wondering whether or not I'd come back and make any kind of a splash. I just wanted to make something honest. As long as I made something honest, hopefully it was going to connect and apparently it has."

Recalling what drove him back into the recording studio, Arthur added: "I felt I had so much unfinished business. That actually made me go back into it. 'Cause I felt like I couldn't wallow in self-pity forever. I can't beat myself up forever."

"It got to a point where I was like 'I cant do this anymore; I need to create something in order to make myself feel better,"" he continued. "And that's how it started; it was like 'I have to prove to myself first and foremost that I'm able to create something honest.' Once I did that, once I started to do it, it came easy to me and everything just felt so real."

Arthur spoke candidly about his mental health issues in a previous interview with The Sun, saying: "My lowest moment was when I was going to bed, I'd take 15 pre-rolled joints and smoke one after the other, popping anti-depressants. My head was an absolute mess."

Watch Megadeth's Dave Mustaine call out a heckler on stage: "Talk or shut the fuck up"
Megadeth frontman called out a heckler during the band's gig in Moline, Illinois last week, telling the fan that he should "talk or shut the fuck up."

The heavy metal band were performing at the city's iWireless Center last Friday night (October 7) when the incident occurred.

As Loudwire reports, Mustaine was addressing the crowd mid-way through the gig when the heckler proceeded to yell at him. As fan-shot footage attests, Mustaine took particular exception to being interrupted.

What? Whatd you say? he asked of the heckler. Okay, everybody, Im gonna wait till this asshole is done talking... No, go ahead: whatever youve got to say is more important than what Ive got to say. Go ahead. No, dont act like a kiss-ass now. Talk or shut the fuck up.

    Watch the incident below.

A commenter on the above YouTube video clarified that it was unclear what the heckler first said when he interrupted Mustaine, but when he got the frontman's attention, he swiftly changed his tack.

"When Dave noticed him he said "love you Dave! I'll take my pants off for you!" and right after the pants comment was when Dave goes "what?" and then proceeds to roast him," YouTuber user Slingshot wrote.

'The League Of Gentlemen' are plotting a "Brexity" return
The League Of Gentlemen's co-creator Mark Gatiss has told fans that a "Brexity" reunion is being plotted by the comedy troupe.

Gatiss created the cult comedy series with Steve Pemberton, Reece Shearsmith and Jeremy Dyson, and starred alongside Pemberton and Shearsmith as a variety of grotesque characters living in the fictional northern village of Royston Vasey.

After beginning as a 1997 radio series, The League Of Gentlemen ran for 19 episodes on BBC Two between 1999 and 2003. The League were last seen together in an acclaimed spin-off film, The League Of Gentlemen's Apocalypse, which hit cinema screens in 2005.

"We're hoping to [more]," Gatiss said today (October 6) during a BBC Radio 6Music interview. "We've talked seriously about doing something - we're not quite sure what it is yet but we'd love to do something, it is 10 years..."

Lady Leshurr is set to release her debut album 'Queen Of The Scene' early in 2017. During her recent NME cover interview she spoke about the lack of bad language on her tracks, saying: "I don't feel the need to swear. I grew up on one of the most foul-mouthed rappers in the world, but it's all about mentality and upbringing. My mum brought me up really good, and I knew my rights from my wrongs."

The rapper also revealed that she feels set apart from the grime scene, despite having Wiley guest on her new single 'Where Are You Now'. She said: "I don't have anybody. It's really sad, but I don't have a circle. I don't have any industry friends. I dont have anyone, literally."

Listen to Kaytranada's remixes of songs by Chance The Rapper and Solange
Kaytranada has shared two new remixes of songs by Chance The Rapper and Solange.

The Canadian producer debuted his take on Chance's 'All Night' on his recent mixtape '0.001% ???', while his remix of Solange's 'Cranes In The Sky' was first played during a recent DJ set in New York City.

Kaytranada has now shared the full versions of the two remixes through his SoundCloud account. Writing about his remix of 'Cranes In The Sky', the producer praised Solange for her powerful recent album, 'A Seat At The Table'.

"I couldn't help it and I can't deny how good it sounds," he wrote about the remix. "This is just an edit to play on my DJ sets, and I played it once and everybody wanted it right away. Honestly I was gonna wait to see if Solange or her team or whoever works for her would've ask me to do an official remix so if they still want to, I could make it sound better than that version but ohhhhh, what the hell...."

Listen to both 'Cranes In The Sky' and 'All Night' below.

Solange has responded positively to the remix, directing a message of endorsement to the producer on Twitter.

Watch previously unseen 'Doctor Strange' footage in Marvel's intense new trailer
Marvel has released an intense new international trailer for Doctor Strange that features several snippets of previously unseen footage.

The forthcoming superhero movie stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange, a neurosurgeon who "discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions" following a serious car accident.

The Sherlock actor is joined by an all-star cast including Chiwetel Ejiofor and Tilda Swinton, who both feature prominently in the new trailer, as well as Rachel McAdams, Hannibal's Mads Mikkelsen and Steve Jobs/A Serious Man actor Michael Stuhlbarg.

    Watch the new trailer below:

Swinton is playing the "Ancient One", a mystical character who serves as a mentor to Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange. In the Doctor Strange comic books, the Ancient One has always been Tibetan, which has led to accusations of "whitewashing" since it was announced last year that the white actress had been cast in the role.

Swinton responded to the controversy by saying in April: "Well, it's not actually an Asian character - that's what I need to tell you about it. I wasn't asked to play an Asian character, you can be very well assured of that."

Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Deliver Us From Evil) directs from a script by John Spaihts (Prometheus). Doctor Strange opens in UK cinemas on October 25 before getting a US release on November 4.

    M.I.A. has US visa approved
M.I.A. has been approved for a US visa.

The London-born artist has endured long-term difficulties with gaining entry into the US. After a range of problems, she was eventually granted a visa to enter the country in 2007 to promote her second album 'Kala', but has since found opportunities to enter the US limited. She tweeted back in May that she still didn't have a visa, preventing her from either living or working in the US.

However, as Pitchfork reports, M.I.A. has now been granted a visa by the US authorities. Sharing a screenshot of a text she'd received from her management, the artist took to Instagram to share the news.

Watch 'Avengers' star keep his coat on for entirety of 'Good Morning Britain' interview
Jeremy Renner surprised many Good Morning Britain viewers this morning (October 12) by keeping his coat on for the duration of his interview with presenters Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid.

"Are you feeling a bit chilly? Do we need to warm the studio up?" Reid asked the Hollywood actor at the start of the interview, to which he replied: "No, I'm just not used to the weather yet."

Reid made light of the situation at the end of the interview too, telling Renner: "We've got some really important information coming up for you: the weather forecast. So you can decide whether to keep it on or take it off!" Watch below courtesy of Evening Standard.

During the interview, Renner also admitted he has yet to see the final cut of his new sci-fi movie Arrival, which he was appearing on Good Morning Britain to promote. "I don't really watch movies. I don't have time," he said. "I have seen it [Arrival], but I haven't seen it finished."

Speaking in another recent interview, Renner admitted that he was initially so "frustrated" by his Avengers character, Hawkeye, that he feigned heart attacks in a bid to get himself kicked off the movie.

Check out 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story''s theatrical poster before the new trailer drops
The theatrical poster for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has been released tonight (October 12) before the film's next trailer drops.

The poster clearly presents Felicity Jones, who plays a mercenary called Jyn Erso, as the film's lead. The Oscar-nominated Theory Of Everything actress recently discussed her kung fu training for her uncommonly physical role in the film.

The next trailer will drop "tomorrow morning", the Star Wars team wrote in a caption on Instagram, presumably referring to tomorrow morning in the US, meaning it will arrive early-to-mid afternoon UK time.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story also stars Riz Ahmed, Mads Mikkelsen, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker and Diego Luna. It has recently been revealed that the film will end 10 minutes before the original 1977 movie Star Wars: A New Hope begins.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first in Disney's "Anthology Series" of spin-off films that will continue with the currently untitled Han Solo prequel movie due in 2018. It was announced in July that rising star Alden Ehrenreich has been cast as a younger version of the character made famous by Harrison Ford. A third Anthology Series film will follow in 2020, Disney confirmed earlier this week.

In May, it was reported that Disney had ordered weeks of costly reshoots on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the goal of the reshoots will be to lighten the mood" as right now Rogue One has the "feel of a war movie".
