Watch Radiohead play classics from 'The Bends' for the first time in six years
[a]Radiohead[/s]'s 'A Moon Shaped Pool' world tour continues to surprise fans, this time with the band airing classic cuts from 'The Bends' for the first time in six years. See footage below.

Playing two nights at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes this week, each show brought a different surprise to the setlist as the band introduced the title track from their seminal album 'The Bends', and the other show brought out the timeless 90s single 'Fake Plastic Trees'. This was the first time that the tracks have been performed by the band since 2010.

Both shows also saw surprise closing performances of 'Creep', which did not appear on either gig's setlist.

Yesterday saw Radiohead unveil the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed video for a stripped back rendition of 'The Numbers' from 'A Moon Shaped Pool' - while last week, a new, unheard Radiohead song 'Ill Wind' appeared online from the special edition of 'A Moon Shaped Pool'.

To mark the occasion, Williams will be performing a special greatest hits show at The Troxy in London on 7 November, which will air a month later.

"It's a real honour for me to be given this award and I can't wait to play songs from my new album, and from my catalogue, at Troxy," Williams told Music Week. "The BRIT Awards are very special to me, and I'm humbled to be receiving the 18th of my career next month."

Tickets to Robbie Williams live at The Troxy will be on sale from Monday 10 October.

Williams will release his new album, Heavy Entertainment show on 4 November.

Trent Reznor teases new Nine Inch Nails record by end of the year
Trent Reznor has given renewed hope to fans, teasing that a Nine Inch Nails' new album could be released by the end of 2016.

The industrial metal icons previously promised to return this year when Reznor tweeted 'New NIN coming in 2016. Other stuff, too.'

After having to deny rumours of a single release as a 'hoax', one fan got impatient on Instagram and asked "What's the word on new NIN for 2016 like you said?" before Reznor replied "2016 is not over yet".

The award-winning soundtrack writer Reznor has also spent much of the last year working on two film scores - one for Leonardo DiCaprios climate change documentary Between the Flood and Peter Bergs Boston Marathon bombing movie Patriot's Day.

Earlier this year, Reznor paid tribute after former NIN keyboardist James Woolley died, aged 50.

"Terrible news regarding James," he said. "I hadnt crossed paths with him for some time, but always thought of him fondly. He was a fun character to be around, a solid musician and a genuinely good guy.

"Those of us from that era of the band have been sharing James stories... lots of laughs and love and sadness. Wishing his family the very best."

Prince's sister 'knew his death was coming'
Prince's sister has opened up about the sudden and tragic passing of the 'Purple Rain' icon, revealing that she was fully expecting him to die young.

The 'Kiss' icon was found dead at his Minnesota Paisley Park home back in April, before an inquest found that he died of an accidental overdose of painkillers. He was just 57-years-old.

Now, his sister Tyka Nelson has given a frank interview about Prince's behaviour in his final years.

"I knew that it was coming," she told Entertainment Tonight about his death. "He said it a couple of years ago: 'I've done everything that I've come to do. I was crushed for about two years."

Nelson continued: "I've had two years to deal with it, but there's a lot of people that have only had from April to now, so I guess I would say give it another year and a half and maybe you'll be where I'm at."

Speaking of the vast wealth of over 2,000 unheard songs in the legendary vault at his Paisley Park home and recording compound, she added: "He's written a massive amount of music and in one of our conversations, he said, 'How I want to be remembered is as one of the most prolific writers in the world. So I'm going to do everything that I can to make that dream come true."

This week, a video tour of Prince's Paisely Park home was unveiled - before it opens its doors as a museum later this month.

Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan and John Mayer are also among the names confirmed for an official Prince tribute concert.

Lena Dunham asked by TV boss to urge fellow actress to 'show her tits'
The latest edition of Lena Dunham's Lenny Letter online newsletter alleges that the Girls star was recently sexually harassed by a TV boss.

Dunham collaborator Jenni Konner details a recent encounter in the newsletter, writing that a "producer/director" of a different TV show "cornered" Dunham in a restaurant "because he wanted Lena to persuade [one of his show's actresses] to 'show her tits, or at least some vag' on TV". The unnamed man allegedly told Dunham: "You would show anything. Even your asshole." He is also accused of showing Dunham an indecent photograph.

"This is fairly common behaviour with strangers and Lena," Konner claims. "In my most generous moments, I can see their nervousness, their familiarity with her frank sexual work, and their desire to make a connection."

On why she decided to speak out about the incident, Konner added: "Its not enough to be mad. Its not enough to know its wrong. When we share, we unlock other womens stories, and suddenly secrets dont seem so necessary. The only thing standing between men and outdated, hideous behaviour is their ability to get away with it."

Meanwhile, Dunham recently issued an apology following controversy surrounding an anecdote she told about NFL player Odell Beckham Jr.

During an interview with Amy Schumer in Dunham's newsletter, the Girls actress recalled sitting next to the American football star at this summer's Met Ball in New York City.

"I was sat next to Odell Beckham Jr. and it was so amazing because it was like he looked at me and he determined I was not the shape of a woman by his standards," Dunham said. "He was like 'That's a marshmallow. That's a child. That's a dog'. It wasn't mean he just seemed confused."

Dunham continued: "The vibe was very much like, 'Do I want to fuck it? Is it wearing a& yep it's wearing a tuxedo. I'm going back to my cell phone.' It was like we were forced to be together, and he literally was scrolling Instagram rather than have to look at a woman in a bow tie. I was like, 'This should be called the Metropolitan Museum of Getting Rejected by Athletes'."

After previously defending her remarks, Dunham has now apologised for her "totally narcissistic assumptions" and accusing Beckham Jr of "misogynistic thoughts".

"I would never intentionally contribute to a long and often violent history of the over-sexualization of black male bodies- as well as false accusations by white women towards black men," she added.

Video claims to have caught Banksy on camera
A YouTuber user has uploaded a video claiming to depict mysterious graffiti artist Banksy.

The identity of the artist and political activist has long been subject of debate. In 2008, The Daily Mail reported Banksy's true identity to be Bristol native Robin Gunningham, while more recently an internet theory suggested that Banksy could be a team of collaborators helmed by Massive Attack.

Now this new video shows a hooded man near what appears to be a new Banksy piece. Interrupted by the cameraperson, the man swiftly flees.

The YouTuber writes in a caption: "So I was walking home from work late last night and I was watching a street artist doing a piece in hosier lane. I double backed and pulled out my phone as he was finishing up. Can't believe I just met Banksy!"

However, some commenters have noted that the man appears too young to be Banksy, who is thought to have started his career in the 1990s. Others have suggested that Banksy rarely signs his own work, unlike in this new piece.

    Watch the video beneath.

In June, Banksy surprised pupils and teachers at a school in Bristol by painting a 6ft mural on a wall, after a classroom was named in the street artist's honour.

The mural, which shows a child chasing a burning wheel, was sprayed on a wall at Bridge Farm Primary School in the artist's home city - and was discovered after pupils returned from half term.

The artist also accompanied the piece with a handwritten letter, in which he thanked the school for naming a classroom after him.

Banksy wrote: "Dear Bridge Farm School. Thanks for your letter and naming a house after me.
"Please have a picture. If you dont like it feel free to add stuff. Im sure the teachers wont mind. Remember its always easier to get forgiveness than permission. Much love Banksy."

Chris Martin keeps telling Gallaghers to 'just pick up the phone' and reunite
As rumours of an Oasis reunion continue, Chris Martin reportedly has stepped in to encourage the Gallagher brothers to get past their feud.

This week saw betting suspended on the chances of the band getting back together to tour in 2017, while former guitarist Bonehead added that he'd "be there like a shot" if a reunion seemed likely.

Now, director of the new Oasis film Supersonic has revealed that Noel Gallagher's friend and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is regularly involved in spurring them on.

"I think itd be such a shame if they dont," Whitecross told The Independent when quizzed about the chances of an Oasis reunion. "Just for themselves. Noel's friends with Chris Martin and he's constantly saying to them, 'Just pick up the phone.' But it's obviously not as easy as that because else he would have done it."

Speaking of the impact of the film, Whitecross continued: I hope it reminds people what theyve lost. Im not a musician, but it feels to me the trajectory that band took is impossible now and thats a tragedy. You also get the sense that people dont know the real Liam and Noel, they think theyre these caricatures, which is not even close to the truth. I hope we can redress the balance.

He added: And if we can get the band back together, even better.

Having performed together on various occasions, Noel and Martin have become close friends - with the Coldplay singer saying that he 'feels like his little brother who does ballet'. Liam is less of a fan - comparing him to a vicar or someone from the cast of The Tweenies.

Meanwhile, Coldplay recently announced a string of UK and European tour dates for 2017. Full dates are below. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday (October 7) via the band's official website. See the dates in full below.

Skrillex says Jared Leto sent him 'the biggest dildo' while working on 'Suicide Squad' soundtrack
Skrillex has revealed how Jared Leto sent him sex toys and "weird shit" when he was working on the soundtrack for Suicide Squad.

Suicide Squad hit cinemas in August and garnered mixed reviews from critics. To prepare for his role as The Joker, Leto got in the mindset by pulling pranks on his co-stars, including sending them used condoms, live rats and bullets.

Skrillex teamed up with rapper Rick Ross on 'Purple Lamborghini' for the film's soundtrack. Speaking to Complex, the producer explained how its video came to be, saying: "[They] wanted to do a music video using me and footage [of Suicide Squad]. I was like, No, I dont want to do one of those. So I called Jared personally, and I really had to persuade him [to join]."

"Hes a really good friend of mine, but for him, giving me that Joker character is not an easy thing. He really went out of his way to be a part of that video. And getting Rick Ross in itthe timing was so last minute. Everything came together at the last minute. The director, the treatment, everything."

Ahead of the video, Skrillex says that Leto sent him "the biggest dildo" he had ever seen, plus "a bunch of weird shit in a box". Skrillex said his reaction was "just like, Thank you."

Jared Leto has said that his Joker antics "became entertainment for a lot of the crew. I think we all bonded, even though I was in this place."

Stormzy: 'It's important for me to express my opinion because I'm a black man'
Stormzy has revealed why it's important for him to be politically active and outspoken as an artist, claiming that he's "ready to be a solider".

The ever-rising grime hero has often made headlines for being opinionated, speaking out on institutionalised racism and police brutality, online racial slurs, as well as the BRIT Awards excluding grime. Earlier this year, there was a Twitter campaign to make him Prime Minister.

"It's important to me to express my opinion cos I'm a black boy. I'm a black man," Stormzy told i-D in a new interivew. "If I see a situation and I ignore it, I'm very fake. Because if I've seen a situation and I've felt outrage, and I don't voice it, then I'm a part of the problem. So I have to stand up. I'm not going to wait until something happens to me or my loved ones before I speak out about it, cos that's not cool. Do I wait before it becomes a trend here until I speak up? Until it's my sisters that don't get let into DSTRKT? Until our government start smoking black people - 'oh now I'm angry cos it happened here, to me.' No, man's angry now, bruv."

Opening up about his stance on the situation on Syria, he added: "I don't know my role in this. I don't know if I'm going to write a song that sparks crazy change. I don't know how I'm going to contribute to the solving of this problem. But I do know that I'm ready. I'm ready to be used. I'm ready to be active. I see myself as soldier.

"People need to realise, that's cool too. You don't always have to be the General leading everyone to the Promised Land. There's a flippin' don somewhere who's got the political knowhow and he'll come with the plan and I'll be ready. I don't know where the answers are, but wherever they are, I'm ready to be a soldier. I'm ready to do my bit."

Vince Staples responds to viral video of Christian mother crying about his song 'Norf Norf'
Rapper Vince Staples has responded to a video that went viral this week featuring a Christian mother becoming emotional when reciting his explicit lyrics.

The video in question saw an unidentified woman criticising the content of his 'Summertime '06' hit 'Norf Norf', which was released in 2015.

Staples is quoted by The Independent as saying: "I dont really have much to say about the video I dont think its funny at all. Its not right to attack someone over their stance, their opinions, and their religion. I think thats very immature& Its just not right thats shes being attacked. Its not okay."

"We already have a lot of issues between black and white relations in this country based on misunderstandings. In my eyes, she doesnt look like a racist. She doesnt look like a mean person. But its not very responsible for people to try to take that and jump, looking for some sort of commentary on these issues [in the community]."

Staples has since taken to Twitter to hit out at the Independent writer, claiming that he was misquoted. "What I was saying was that the woman in that video is clearly confused on the context of the song which causes her to be frightened," he added.

The rapper continued that while the woman "has a right to her opinion", in his opinion she "seems to be emotionally unstable". He signed off by saying: "Thats all I have to say about that. Stop asking me." See the tweets in full beneath.

Thank you to Justin Carissimo for the misquote. Great Job.

Fleetwood Mac hope to finish new album by Christmas
Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie has given another update on the band's much anticipated new album.

The band toured extensively through 2014 and 2015, with McVie returning to the fold for the first time in a decade and a half. They have not released a studio album since 2003's 'Say You Will'.

Speaking to The Guardian, McVie described the record as "half-finished", adding: "Its just seven tracks that weve got, and theyre only with guide vocals."

With it pointed out that the band had said they were at the same point two years ago, McVie replied: "Weve been doing a world tour! Im going back in October to try and finish it. If its not finished by Christmas then Ill go back after and finish it then. We do things in a weird way, I guess."

She went on to say that the songs hadn't been given titles yet but that she "like[s] them all, and thats not a lie".

"We have a fantastic variety of songs and Im very, very pleased with whats happened so far."

During an interview with Billboard recently, Nicks admitted that the band's famously tempestuous relationships could have a bearing on whether they make another album together.

"Is it possible that Fleetwood Mac might do another record? I can never tell you yes or no, because I don't know. I honestly don't know," she said. "It's like, do you want to take a chance of going in and setting up in a room for like a year [to record an album] and having a bunch of arguing people? And then not wanting to go on tour because you just spent a year arguing?"

"Or do you just go on tour because you know that you have fun up there and you love doing shows?" the musician continued. "And Christine's only been back for a year and a half."

Carlos D finally reveals why he left Interpol
Former Interpol bassist Carlos D has revealed why he left the band, claiming that had 'had enough of this fucking rock star bullshit'.

Dengler parted ways with the NYC band after the completion but before the release of their self-titled fourth album in 2010, before pursuing a career as an actor.

He'd said feeling 'bored while watching Coldplay' was when he had his realisation to leave the group, but now has given a lengthy, hour-long discussion about his final years with the band and his life since. Listen to the full interview below.

I was experiencing so much pain being in the band, being in the music industry, he told Talk Music Talk. I have to admit that I couldnt help but to feel that the band was constraining a creative impulse. It wasnt for lack of actually trying to make it work; it was still three tortuous years of trying to& I got sober and I said, Okay, enough of this fucking rock star shit. Who am I really?'

Frontman Paul Bank also said Dengler was 'an asshole' but 'a genius'. Dengler later made his musical comeback during when he made an appearance playing bass on Late Night With Seth Myers.

Interpol are said to be working on the follow-up to 2014's 'El Pintor', while Banks is touring his collaborative album with Wu Tang's RZA - 'Anything But Words' by Banks & Steelz.

    'Cheap Thrills'
    'Reaper'

    'Midnight Decisions'
    'Jesus Wept'
    'The Greatest'

'This Is Acting' was released in January and has so far peaked at Number Three in the UK and Number Four in the US. Sia, an in-demand songwriter as well as a chart-topping recording artist, revealed before its release that the album features songs she had written for, but had rejected by, other artists.

"I'm calling it 'This Is Acting' because they are songs I was writing for other people, so I didn't go in thinking 'this is something I would say'. It's more like play-acting. It's fun," she explained.

Stormzy reveals what to expect from his debut album
Stormzy has opened up about what to expect from his hotly-anticipated debut album - claiming that it will represent him as an 'aggy little shit with a bone to pick'.

The 'Shut Up' rising grime star has released a string of huge singles as a lead and featured artist, as well as an EP and a mixtape. However, his rise to prominence has not yet seen him release an album.

"So much has already happened and I'm still on album one," he told i-D. "Maybe I should be on my second album now but I'm not, this is where I am. Most people's first albums, they're not talking about touring the world and winning awards. I was meant to still be in the ends with this one. So my album is a treasure in itself because it's coming from such an unusual position as a debut."

He continued: "I can't wait to get it out. I want to give the world a body of work that is Stormzy. That you can refer to it and say it's Stormzy, in the same way you look at Illmatic and say that's Nas or Boy In Da Corner and that was Dizzee, an aggy little shit with a bone to pick. So for me, you will hear Stormzy the son, the boyfriend, the brother, the bredrin, all of it. I will give you a moment in time in music."

Stormzy also said that it was 'important to express his opinion as an artist because he's a black man' - adding that he's ready to be a soldier. He's previously made headlines for speaking out on institutionalised racism and police brutality, online racial slurs, as well as the BRIT Awards excluding grime. Earlier this year, there was a Twitter campaign to make him Prime Minister.

Liam Gallagher compares Oasis 'Supersonic' film to 'therapy I never had'
The director of the new Oasis documentary film Supersonic has said that Liam Gallagher described making the movie as akin to therapy.

The film received its premiere last Sunday, accompanied by a live Q&A with Liam, former guitarist Bonehead and director Mat Whitecross.

Now speaking to The Independent, Whitecross has said: "Liam kept saying, 'This is like therapy I never had; Im going to come back next week'. I kept on saying we should pretend the films not coming out!"

Whitecross went on: "When I look back on the archives of them together, its very funny and scandalous, but its relatively superficial. When we got them separately, we could dig deeper, revisit stuff and not worry one of them might walk out at any moment."

Whitecross also said that Coldplay's Chris Martin is keen on Oasis reforming: "Noel's friends with Chris Martin and he's constantly saying to them, 'Just pick up the phone.' But it's obviously not as easy as that because else he would have done it."

Sadiq Khan backs plan to build Londons largest film and TV studios
The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has given his support for plans to build a new TV and film studio in the capital.

The proposed complex would house the largest production facility in London and be the first to be built in 25 years.

The mayor has commissioned a feasibility study into creating the studios with Dagenham being considered as the site for the project.

Khan said: From James Bond and Star Wars to Harry Potter and Bridget Joness Baby, London has a vibrant production history and some of the best studios in the world. To sustain and grow this success story, it is critical that the capital gets significantly more studio and production capacity to maximize the opportunities for film-making.

London is the worlds third-busiest city for film production, behind Los Angeles and New York.

    Press

Around two-thirds of the British film industry is based in and around the capital. Recent big-budget films that have been filmed in London include Marvels Avengers: Age of Ultron and Doctor Strange, as well as TV dramas such as BBCs Undercover and Channel 4 sci-fi thriller Humans.

Dagenham has a number of notable film alumni including actor and screenwriter Nick Frost, who collaborated with Simon Pegg on Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Paul.

The Leader of Barking and Dagenham Council, Darren Rodwell said: We are working together to create a blockbuster deal to generate hundreds of exciting opportunities for local young people and bolster Barking and Dagenhams reputation as Londons latest creative hotspot. Our ambition is that in future, Dagenham will become world famous for films rather than Fords.

The Gary Ross-helmed film is scheduled to begin production this month in New York with a summer 2017 release, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Gorillaz have increased speculation that they are readying a new album with a mysterious GIF.

Damon Albarn's animated band kickstarted a flurry of activity across their social media accounts last month, leading many fans to believe that the release of their album could be imminent. They were at it again earlier this week, revealing 'The Book Of Noodle' multimedia project.

In September, the band posted a mysterious photo on their Twitter account, with text reading 'The_End' with the words "Until next time".

The band's fifth album and first since 2011's 'The Fall' was originally due for release this year, but now looks set to drop next year after animator Jamie Hewlett said it was "really fuckin' special" and "can't be rushed".

Back in July, Damon Albarn said: "Later in the year well be starting to get the whole Gorillaz thing together. I'm loving it and it's getting there. It should be ready fairly soon."

Speaking of the new Gorillaz album in 2015, Albarn also said, "So far, it's really fast, and it's got quite a lot of energy. I've been stuck on piano, somewhere off Broadway, for years now. I want to go somewhere completely opposite of that."

Vic Mensa was also recently pictured in the studio with Albarn. Producer Remi Kabaka, a frequent Gorillaz collaborator who provides the voice of fictional band member Russel Hobbs, shared a photo of Mensa in the studio on Instagram (May 17).

The White Stripes continue to condemn Donald Trump by selling 'Icky Trump' t-shirts
The White Stripes have hit out at Donald Trump again by selling 'Icky Trump' t-shirts online.

The red t-shirts, which are named after Jack and Meg White's 2007 album 'Icky Thump', are currently on sale on Third Man Records' website.

The back of the t-shirt also features the following scathing lyrics from the song:

    White Americans? What?
    Nothing better to do?
Why don't you kick yourself out?
    You're an immigrant, too?
    Who's using who?
    What should we do?
Well, you can't be a pimp
    And a prostitute, too

You can view the t-shirt below. The pair reunited publicly earlier this week to condemn the Republican presidential candidate.

The band's song 'Seven Nation Army' was used in a promotional video for Donald Trump, which led Jack and Meg to issue a rare joint statement.

Speaking in a statement issued through Third Man Records, the band said: "Regarding the use of Seven Nation Army in a Donald Trump campaign video, The White Stripes would like to unequivocally state that they have nothing whatsoever to do with this video. They are disgusted by this association, and by the illegal use of their song."

Other artists have also condemned the presidential hopeful; most recently, ex-Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters slammed him at a Mexico concert whilst Green Day changed their lyrics to 'Holiday' to slam 'white supremacist' Trump.

Alec Baldwin and Margot Robbie recently imitated Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump on 'SNL' during its season 42 premiere.

Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie hosted the long-running NBC variety show and impersonated Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump for a Celebrity Family Feud comedy sketch which also starred Larry David as Bernie Sanders.

Watch U2 mock Donald Trump in new mash up video
U2 have lambasted US Presidential hopeful Donald Trump on their tour in the US.

The band mocked Trump in a video mash up during their performance of 'Bullet The Blue Sky' in San Francisco last night (October 5).

Footage of the performance, which you can watch below, also showed frontman Bono calling the Republican candidate out over his plans to build a wall in Mexico.

"Now candidate, you understand it's not just Mexican people who are going to have a problem with this wall of yours," he said. "It's everyone who loves the idea of America."

Bono also accused Trump of running off with the American dream.

Last month the band mocked the US Presidential candidate through a sample during a performance of 'Desire' at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas.

Bono also called Trump out in an interview with Charlie Rose with the frontman calling him "potentially the worst idea that ever happened to America".

America is like the best idea the world ever came up with. But Donald Trump is potentially the worst idea that ever happened to America, potentially, he said.

It could destroy it... America is an idea, and that idea is bound up in justice and equality for all - equality and justice for all, you know?... I don't think he's a Republican. I think hes hijacked the party, and I think hes trying to hijack the idea of America. And I think its bigger than all of us. I think its - this is really dangerous. People of conscience should not let this man turn your country into a casino.

Earlier this summer, U2 reportedly confirmed that they will release a new album and head back on tour during 2017.

The Irish four-piece have been working on the follow-up to their 2014 LP 'Songs Of Innocence' over the last year, with guitarist The Edge recently revealing that the band have more than 50 songs for what is expected to be called 'Songs Of Experience'.

Bono said of the new album: "It's not finished yet but you will like it. In terms of lyrics it is stronger than [1983 album] 'WAR', it has more clarity".

"The second part of the tour is for 2017," he added. "You might see a few things in September or October though."
