20+ Compelling Exorcist Memes to Exercise Your Demons with Laughter

The power of memes compels you! The power of memes compels you! That's right, it's spooky season and time to turn heads with a classic horror movie, The Exorcist. The newest from the horrific 1970s series, The Exorcist: Believer, came out Oct. 6th this year and fans are not as compelled to see it as much as the original. Why? Well, because it feels like maaaaaaybe they've drawn this plot out a little too far at this point. I mean, how many times can someone get possessed by the devil and make it original? Been there done that, right Regan?? (Regan is the little girl who gets possessed in the original film and book& Just in case you didn't catch that.) So we thought we'd bring some original The Exorcist memes for fans still wanting to remember that original spookiness. Nothing graphic about these memes expect how graphically funny they are!

30 Memes For a Fabulous Friday

How are y'all doing on this wonderful Friday? It never ceases to amaze me that the weekend always comes despite all of the week's chaos. I feel so lucky that I'm finally living a life where I don't have to work tirelessly seven days a week without ever skipping a day. I finally allowed myself to enjoy my weekends without any strings attached, and I'm much better for it.

Friday is such a great day of the week because the possibilities are endless. Your weekend can be anything you make of it. You could meet the love of your life on Friday night, have delicious chicken and waffle brunch on Saturday morning, see an inspiring movie on Saturday night, take a humbling hike in nature on Sunday afternoon, and get dinner with said love of your life on Sunday night. Or, you could simply relax in your bed with some funny memes

Voracious Woman Eats 48 Oysters on First Date, Gets Put on Blast for Complaining When Her Date Walks

First dates are often the most nerve-wracking kind. It's the time in a relationship when there are so many questions, and very few answers. Are they going to like me? What are we going to talk about? Are they going to eat an unholy amount of shellfish on my dime?

Perhaps that last question isn't something that immediately pops into the head of most people, but it was something that captured the attention of the internet recently thanks to a viral video. We're currently in the middle of an epidemic of singletons turning their dating lives into social media content, and this recent TikTok was no exception.

In it, a woman documents a date at a restaurant with a man she admits to not being interested in. She reveals how she ordered drinks, consumed four $15 plates of oysters, then ordered another course before her date walked out on her and left her with the check.

Although she wasn't pleased, many viewers felt like she had got what was coming to her. You've got to be a bit more subtle if you want a romantic interest to be your meal ticket.

The Best Dungeons & Dragons Memes of the Week (October 13, 2023)

Hello there, warriors and wizards. Need a quick idea for your next Dungeons & Dragons character before the next meetup? I got you. How about Gizardmoth the Amphibious, a lizardfolk sorcerer who's not like other lizardfolk. Gizardmoth is a short king, standing at an impressive 5'1". His scales are a mesmerizing mosaic of colors that change like a chameleon's skin as he experiences different emotions. On his head, Gizardmoth wears a silly-looking jester's hat which makes him feel more approachable to NPCs, but his is eyes sparkle with mischieffor few know what powers the jester's hat holds. Gizardmoth was never content with the traditional ways of the lizardfolk. He was drawn to the bizarre and eccentric, and always fascinated by strange magic. Banished from his tribe for being vegan, Gizardmoth wandered into a forbidden forest and stumbled upon a mysterious and enchanted jester's hat that not only granted him sorcerous powers, but also gave him his offbeat sense of humor. If Gizardmoth wasn't strange before finding the enchanted jester's hat, he sure is now. Gizardmoth has a bad habit of laughing out loud at the most inappropriate moments and playing borderline sociopathic pranks on his fellow adventurers. He's a true misfit with a unique perspective on the world, seeing humor and fun where others might see danger and destruction. He can be emotionally erratic, shifting from manic enthusiasm to quiet contemplation within mere seconds. Beneath his bizarre exterior, Gizardmoth is a fiercely loyal companion and a talented spellcaster.

And now for this week's best Dungeons & Dragons memes! Come back next week for more memes and free character ideas.

Lactose Intolerant Lady Schools Busybody On Why She Ordered Oat Milk in Her Coffee

I have never been a milk girl. I come from a family of milkaholics, and I just don't fit in there. My parents have 3-4 gallons of milk in their fridge at any given time, and they will finish all of it without a drop getting spoiled. I will buy a tiny carton of milk solely for macaroni and cheese purposes, and I can't even finish that.

That is to say, I'm not particularly invested in the milk-centric culture war presently playing out in the minds of delusional people. If you're not familiar, here's a quick rundown; Dairy milk dudes are fearful that soy milk and other milk substitutes are feminizing men. This is half driven by an earnest belief that soy milk carries the hormone estrogen (it doesn't) and half driven by the stereotype that weak men are the only ones drinking these milk substitutes. This strange set of beliefs sets the stage for this Reddit story, where a milk-pilled manly man can't keep his mouth shut about other people's coffee orders, and pays the price for it.

25+ Hilarious Marvel Memes for Superhero Fiends (October 13, 2023)

Loki is the best (and most ridiculous) Marvel character and no one can convince me otherwise. He's died three timesmore than any other character in the MCU, he's literally a god and yet still struggles with self-esteem issues and fear of rejection (he's just like us, for real), and he's a shapeshifter. There is no alligator Spider-Man, or alligator Thor. The fact that alligator Loki exists should be proof enough that Loki is the best of the MCU. Of course, the inspiration for Loki's character didn't come out of nowhere. In norse mythology, Loki was represented as a cunning trickster who had the ability to change his shape and was an outcast among the other gods, often showing up to parties uninvited and drinking all the booze. Okay, maybe Loki isn't necessarily the best character in the MCU, but define 'best'. He's certainly the most fun.

Whether your favorite character is Loki, or Thor, or that carrot-headed alien from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, we've got a fresh batch of marvelous Marvel memes for every Avengers fan out there.

35 Amusing Tweets From Twitter Users Who Don't Want to Call it X (October 13, 2023)

One of the main things that separates people from the rest of the animal kingdom is the complexity of our communication and language. I'd argue that it's one of the few things about being human that we've truly taken full advantage of, and nowhere on the internet shows that off better than Twitter.

Sure, we could point to the countless works of classic literature that we have managed to produce, or even wax lyrical about some of the most famous speeches. When it comes down to it, though, the greatest sh*tposters of our generation have said just as much in 140 characters as a famous author has in tens of thousands of words.

The heyday of Twitter may be slowly fading into the past, but its continues to pump out some mighty distracting online entertainment. We'll keep on documenting it until Elon delivers that fatal blow. It passes the time like nobody's business.

20+ Witchy Memes for Spell Casters Who Know Their Sage From Their Palo Santo

At this time of year, it seems like every other person is all about that mystical side of life (or the spookier aspects of it, anyway). However, to paraphrase a recently popularized meme, these fake witches don't know what to do when a real one comes at them.

From the families that have passed down spiritual secrets from generation to generation to those dubious characters who sell love spells on Etsy, there are a surprising amount of individuals who have witchy inclinations. Most of them don't hesitate to share the magic, either.

This is especially true when it comes to memes, which are as plentiful as they are amusing. Whether you're a witchcraft veteran or you're only just familiarizing yourself with the tarot cards, these memes are sure to pack a punch on this solar eclipse. There's also no rule that says you can't enjoy them during other moon phases.

People Share 'Old People' Things They Hated as Children, But Love as Adults

As I've grown up, many things I hated as a child get put into perspective. For instance, when I was a kid, I hated when adults would fight over the bill at a restaurant. I wished that one of the families would accept the generous offer and try to cover the bill next time. Now that I'm an adult, I appreciate the drama and conflama of endlessly fighting over putting your credit card down. It's not really about who pays; it's about how much of a compelling performance you can do to convince the other family that you will pay. Nobody really wants to foot a $200 dinner bill, but if you convince the others you're eating with that you want to, you might save your $200.

Redditors recently came together to share things they hated as kids but came to love once they became the older people they resented. I can't help but agree with a great deal of their answers.

20 Freshly Baked Cake Memes That Offer a Sweet Treat

Bread and cake are not so different from one another in terms of being a kind of stodgy, flour-based carbohydrate, yet one is a daily staple and the other supposedly reserved for special occasions. The main thing that separates them is the sugar content, and a couple of animal products. Why shouldn't we make a habit of eating cake every day (provided we can tolerate the gluten)?

OK, so it's often more expensive and calorific, but that doesn't really matter for somebody with a terminal case of Treat Brain. If we're being honest, this type of person is just about anybody who consumes a lot of memes. As such, memes and cakes make the perfect pairing. Even if you don't have a sweet baked good by your side right now, you can attempt to satiate any cravings with the images below. We make no promises for your success in this endeavor.

Old School Spiderman Memes For Boomers Whose Meme Taste Hasn't Evolved Since 2009

Here at Memebase, we try to stay on top of the hottest online trends. We will report Twitter discourse live on the scene, and we will tell y'all about the newest TikTok trend before it makes its way over to Instagram reels. However, we are painfully aware that this type of topical reporting is not what many of you guys want from us. We know that there is a large group of Memebase users who just want memes: nothing more, nothing less. More than that, some of y'all want memes that are so old, I was in Elementary school when they were made. Again, I completely understand this nostalgic desire for the simplicity that image macros can bring. I hope those of you who are in that group understand that we can't do that all the time, but we are willing to cave to your desires with these ancient Spider-Man memes just this once. Enjoy them while they last.

A Smidgen of Memes for Added Color

In 2020, a study claimed to show that the world was becoming less colorful. Examining thousands of photos of everyday objects across time, it concluded that a significantly higher proportion of manmade objects are more likely to be in a shade of gray than any other color.

Anecdotally speaking, I feel like I'm living through a time that's less colorful than my youth. Perhaps that's part of the reason that I'm obsessed with memes: I'm a color-seeking person, and they provide plenty of it.

For those of us who drive neutral-toned cars, live in beige homes, and work monochromatic office jobs, they provide a sight for sore eyes. We're all just like big babies being plopped in front of some neuron-developing primary colored toys for the first time. Maybe it's not so great that many of us do this for several hours a day, but we can ignore that part.
