In norse mythology, Loki was represented as a cunning trickster who had the ability to change his shape and was an outcast among the other gods, often showing up to parties uninvited and drinking all the booze. Anecdotally speaking, I feel like I'm living through a time that's less colorful than my youth. Perhaps that's part of the reason that I'm obsessed with memes: I'm a color-seeking person, and they provide plenty of it.
