Now, frontman Rou Reynolds has taken to Instagram to reveal that he's already looking to the future - and that progress on their next record begins now.

"Thank you everyone who bought The Mindsweep, came out to a show, bought merch, stuck up for us in an online or offline brawl, believed in the music, believed in the lyrics, made the album their own and used it to help make memories," wrote Reynolds. "Big love to YOU."

He continued "But now my friends, The Mindsweep era has come to an end. And next week, I start the long process of writing what will be our best album ever. Let the hibernation, the inception, the formulation, begin."

"Strange to think, this time last year, I'd only slept six hours this week! I was halfway through 12weeks of insomnia & gen. anxiety disorder," he said. "After suffering from exhaustion I had the nastiest panic attack of my life & was hospitalised forcing us to cancel our Download warm up show."

"At its worst, some mornings after failing to sleep at all once more, I'd get up feeling utterly distraught & just burst into tears,"

Meanwhile, the band are set to release their new live album, 'Live At Alexandra Palace' on 4 November 2016.

Speaking on the Howard Stern Show, the actor revealed that he was diagnosed with "immediately aggressive" prostate cancer, which he has since had surgery to treat. Stiller confirmed that he is currently cancer-free but still undergoes regular tests.

Watch Clarkson, Hammond and May join James Corden for 'Carpool Karaoke'-style racing quiz
Former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have appeared on James Corden's Late Late Show in the US.

The trio will launch their new Amazon Prime car show The Grand Tour in November. Ahead of that, they have taken part in a Carpool Karaoke-style segment in which they race around a track while being quizzed by Corden.

The clip sees Clarkson dodge a question about whether he misses Top Gear and May referring to a penis as "a James". Watch below.

The build-up to the premiere of The Grand Tour has been hugely anticipated since Clarkson was fired from Top Gear last year by the BBC for punching a producer of the popular motoring show.

His co-hosts, Hammond and May, left the show following Clarkson's axing, only to reunite for a new motoring show on the subscription service Amazon Prime.

The Grand Tour will premiere on November 18. New episodes will be released every Friday for 12 weeks. The first episode will be 70 minutes long.

Prince's Paisley Park museum opening delayed
Prince's Paisley Park museum will not be opening on October 6, with traffic, parking and public safety said to be delaying the initial plans.

Located in Chanhassen in his home state of Minnesota, Paisley Park became both a residence and a place of creativity for Prince after construction was completed in 1988. The artist intended the compound to become a museum after his death, leaving behind guidelines on such aspects as how he wanted visitors to walk through Paisley Park during the tour.

According to The Star Tribune (via The Fader), the Chanhassen City Council want more time to figure out how the museums opening would affect Chanhassens traffic, parking and public and pedestrian safety. One member said they also need to decide whether they want to become a tourist town, hosting approximately 600,000 visitors annually. Mayor Denny Laufenburger reportedly disagreed with the decision to table.

    Getty

The planned Paisley Park museum will allow visitors access to the first floor of the facility the basement vault, the elevator where Prince was found dead, and his private apartment on the second floor will remain strictly off-limits.

Visitors will be able to visit twelve different rooms (which have all been decorated thematically to document a particular era of his career) and his recording studios.

Prince's guidelines are said to include a wall-mounted timeline of his life through the mid-1990s and messages and texts sent to friends that specify how he wanted fans to walk through Paisley Park.

A new opening date for the Paisley Park museum is yet to be revealed.

'Game of Thrones'' Kit Harington tipped for leading role in Guy Fawkes BBC miniseries
Kit Harington is being eyed for a leading role in a new BBC miniseries that will dramatise the attempt made by 17th century radical Guy Fawkes to blow up the Houses of Parliament.

Harington, who rose to fame playing Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, was apparently interested in writing his own screenplay on Fawkes' infamous story, though it is thought that his own project is unrelated to the BBC miniseries in question, which currently does not have a writer attached.

As TVLine reports, Harington is being sought to play the role of Fawkes in the as-yet-undeveloped series. Currently titled Gunpowder, the new project is being made in conjunction with Kudos, the production company behind Broadchurch and Humans.

Harington's interest in playing Fawkes has likely been triggered by the fact that he is a direct descendant of Robert Catesby, who plotted alongside Fawkes in the lead-up to the failed attempt in 1605 to blow up Parliament.

Catesby shared Fawkes' desire to restore a Catholic monarch to the throne, which they believed they could achieve by assassinating the reigning James I while he was attending Parliament. Their plans were scuppered, however, and Fawkes was executed for his role in the plot shortly after the failed attempt.

Talking Heads frontman David Byrne has announced that he will be showcasing an art exhibition focused on neuroscience.

According to a statement, 'The Institute Presents: Neurosociety' is described as "an immersive theatrical experience" that will present the work of 15 cognitive neuroscience labs. Byrne co-created the exhibition with Mala Gaonkar.

The film will be the second in the sequel trilogy, following last year's The Force Awakens, and is set to be released on December 15, 2017. It has yet to receive an official title.

As reported by The Independent, Davis has confirmed that he will be appearing in the new film, but wouldn't be drawn on the nature of his role.

"I do, yes," he said when asked if he knew if he would be starring in the new film. "Thats all I can say."

Quizzed on how he saw the new trilogy panning out, Davis compared Episode VIII with the 1980 Star Wars film, The Empire Strikes Back.

I think [The Force Awakens] sets up the trilogy very well. Obviously, were moving into the territory of Episode VIII very soon as well, and much like Empire Strikes Back Im sure its going to deliver some quite impactful story moments, and itll leave us with some cliffhangers as well which resolve in Episode IX.

In The Force Awakens, Davis appeared as Wollivan, a tavern-dweller in Maz Kanata's castle. He previously appeared in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi as Wicket W. Warrick, an Ewok who helps Princess Leia.

Star Wars 8: Adam Driver clarifies comments about 'The Empire Strikes Back'
Star Wars: Episode 8 star Adam Driver has clarifies the comments he made about the forthcoming sequel, which fans thought compared it to The Empire Strikes Back.

Driver, who plays Kylo Ren, previously spoke of the Star Wars 8 screenplay, stating that it had a different tone, "similar to The Empire Strikes Back".

Speaking to Vanity Fair in September, he said: "Its great. Its similar to how The Empire Strikes Back has a different tone. For that people always go oooh, its dark but I dont know that it necessarily is. Its just different in tone in a way that I think is great and necessary but also very clear. He (Rian Johnson) trusts [that] his audience is ready for nuance and ambiguity. Hes not dumbing anything down for someone and thats really fun to play."

Whilst this comments didn't directly state that Star Wars: Episode 8 would mirror the tone of The Empire Strikes Back, some fans took it that way.

Now, speaking to Vanity Fair, he clarified the comments, stating: "What I said was the tone of it was different, I didnt say that it was gonna be in the vein of [it]I was using it as an example, so poor example."

He continued, "Next time I should sayIm trying to think of another sequel to a movie thats good. When I read the script, it was not what I expected, in the best of ways."

Meanwhile, Warwick Davis has joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode 8. The film will be the second in the sequel trilogy, following last year's The Force Awakens, and is set to be released on December 15, 2017. It has yet to receive an official title.

The White Stripes reunite to condemn Donald Trump
The White Stripes have reunited to publicly condemn Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The band's song 'Seven Nation Army' was used in a promotional video for Donald Trump, which led Jack and Meg White to issue a rare joint statement.

Speaking in a statement issued through Third Man Records, the band said: "Regarding the use of Seven Nation Army in a Donald Trump campaign video, The White Stripes would like to unequivocally state that they have nothing whatsoever to do with this video. They are disgusted by this association, and by the illegal use of their song."

Its unclear exactly which ad The White Stripes are referencing; a fan-made video soundtracked by 'Seven Nation Army' went viral over the summer, but it was not made by Trumps campaign.

Other artists have also condemned Donald Trump; most recently, ex-Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters slammed Donald Trump at a Mexico concert whilst Green Day changed their lyrics to 'Holiday' to slam 'white supremacist' Donald Trump.

Alec Baldwin and Margot Robbie recently imitated Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump on 'SNL' during its season 42 premiere.

Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie hosted the long-running NBC variety show and impersonated Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump for a Celebrity Family Feud comedy sketch which also starred Larry David as Bernie Sanders.

"This isn't something we've ever done in years of touring so I feel very weird writing this," he continued. "We've been very excited to play at The Bowery again and I can't apologise enough for messing you guys around."

Smith stated that Bastille are working on a rescheduled date, with more info set to be "shared as soon as possible".

The band recently shared the video for their new single 'Send Them Off!'. The darkly provocative video, described as a "very modern twist on Dante's Divine Comedy", sees the band channel infamous Nicole Kidman/Tom Cruise erotic drama Eyes Wide Shut as well as classic horror movie Rosemary's Baby.
