The second US Presidential town hall debate took place last night (Sunday, October 9) with Hillary Clinton again going up against Donald Trump. The music world has been posting its reactions to Twitter.
Last week had seen increased criticism directed at Republican candidate Trump over historic comments he made about groping women.
During the debate, Katy Perry took to Twitter to urge Clinton not to shake Trump's hand, while Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx urged Trump to "make a point rather than sniffle and point".
"Donald is a Savage," wrote At The Drive-In/The Mars Volta's Cedric Bixler-Zavala. "I'm not pro trump but fuck he's a savage."
Shura went on to point out how "Trump constantly refers to Hilary as her or she and then refers to himself in the third person".

DON'T SHAKE HIS HAND #debates— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) October 10, 2016 Could Trump make a point rather than sniffle and point?— Nikki Sixx (@NikkiSixx) October 10, 2016 My fuel for tonight's gig was #trump rage. Grab em by the pussy I'll kick you in the face. And balls.— Tove Lo (@ToveLo) October 10, 2016 Very smart of Clinton to praise Trump's kids as best thing about him. Reminded of song "What I Like Best About You Is Your Girlfriend."— Irvine Welsh (@IrvineWelsh) October 10, 2016 Donald is a Savage. I'm not pro trump but fuck he's a savage.— CEDRIC BIXLER ZAVALA (@cedricbixler_) October 10, 2016 Trump constantly refers to Hilary as her or she and then refers to himself in the third person...— shura (@weareshura) October 10, 2016 @MikalCronin @yasisalek Props to Trump for showing restraint and not grabbing her pussy— Christopher Owens (@Chri55yBaby) October 10, 2016 Donald Trump's pursed lips = a cat's asshole. What comes out of them is pretty similar too — Blonde (@Blondesound) October 10, 2016 Gutted I can't watch this. I'm sure Trump is using all of his immense knowledge and intelligence to present a well balanced argument.— Jack Bevan (@jackbevan) October 10, 2016
