"The roar of the lion" https://www.flickr.com/photos/197697877@N05/53253456075/in/pool-11947580@N00 simone.curzi81 has added a photo to the pool:
Sh2-132, nicknamed the Lion Nebula, is a vast and faint emission nebula located in the southern part of the Cepheus constellation. It is situated at a distance of approximately 10,400 light-years within the Perseus Arm.I had underestimated the difficulty of capturing this object to the extent that I began to doubt the quality of my data. I went through a crisis and nearly completely revised my narrowband workflow, only to eventually revert back with some significant improvements (narrowband normalization and the blending of RGB star data from Bill Blanshan and the use of the Ha channel as luminance). All of this study and work, in my opinion, has brought out beautiful details in the "lion's head" that I strongly encourage you to observe with the aid of zoom. Location: Private observatory "Famiglia Curzi" in Acquaviva Picena (AP) - Bortle 5 skies.
Clear skies, Simone Curzi |

Camping in the mountains sometimes is challenging and requires a little bit of effort and preparation, but is possible to admire beautiful dramatic moments between night and day when the moon is able to see the last glow of the sunset.
