"Do not pressure me for an answer," she said, cutting off his complaint. "I was asked to keep a confidence. Would you like me to spill all your secrets to Harry, simply because he badgered me?" Draco recognized that tone of voice and knew that arguing further would be fruitless. "No, of course not," he muttered, suitably chagrined. After his mother left, Draco sat in the lounge rocking Livvie while Potter played with AJ on the floor. Livvie was on the verge of falling asleep, and AJ giggled and waved a toy about. If only life could be that simple for adults. Instead, Draco was fretting over how to broach the subject of what he'd overheard without seeming like an eavesdropper.
