Once the gifts were put away in Livvie's nursery, Draco decided to pose the question uppermost in his mind. "Mum, what did Potter ask you not to tell me?"

His mother's happy expression closed down. "It would be an unforgivable error on my part should I reveal your husband's secrets," she said, her voice cool.

Draco should have let it go; instead he pressed the issue. "Is there something wrong with him, or AJ?"

"No, Draco. That, I would have insisted he tell you."

"What isn't he telling me?"

She hesitated a moment before saying, "You should ask him yourself."
