After dinner, Draco sat in the lounge trying to soothe a fussy Livvie, while Potter sat on the floor with an equally fussy AJ. Their son was teething, which was why he was cross, but Livvie seemed to have no reason to fuss except, perhaps, that she was reacting to her brother's unease.

Draco sighed. "However did Mrs Weasley manage with an entire horde of offspring?"

"She had plenty of experience, not to mention tremendous patience," Potter replied dryly. He offered AJ a teether, wrapping the baby's chubby fingers around the rubber ring. AJ began to chew and quieted immediately.
