So, as everyone here has gleaned, I have been searching for a new job since I got to Spokane. I'm tired of working from home and want a "real" job, that pays better and, really, doesn't make me work Saturdays, so I can do things with people!
Now, yesterday, I went and got my shoulder x-rayed, because I somehow tore my rotator cuff. I explained that in my last post. When I got home, Scotty used his superpowers on me and put me to bed for a nap. I woke up to a lovely email from this nice guy that I interviewed with last Wednesday.
I GOT THE JOB!!!
I don't know when he wants me to start, because he goes on vacation next week, and obviously, I have to give notice to the current job, so I'm thinking that I'll start 9/18. That'll let me give 10 days notice, and, let me get a few things out of the way.
Hopefully this will be my job home. I like the thought of working for a lawyer that does workman's comp. Which is what I'll be doing. I'll be doing a lot of medical record gleaning and summarizing. That's something I like to do. But we shall see.
