Long Overdue Update on Life + Weekend
I know I havn't posted anything much about what's going on in quite awhile. I guess now is the time, as pretty much everyone knows this news anyways. And if you know me, and don't know this news, you might not of been paying too much attention :-) I have a girlfriend now, and have for a llittle over a month and a half. Things are going great, and am very very happy.

If you don't know who, and read the rest of this post about my weekend, and car troubles, I think you can figure out who it is [just some inclanation for you to read below the cut, for those few who don't know.

I don't know if this will work.

But basically the weekend was really good, with one exception, my car :-)

Went up to Singer Island to a tiki bar with Liz to meet some people. We had lots of fun. Afterwards we headed to another place to get a bite to eat [just down the road literally]. I noticed that my battery light was on the dashboard, and this couldn't be good, arrived there fine, no problems. We ate, hung out, etc. Then we went to drop off one of the people at their car, this was when it was quite apparent I was having some problems, the dash started to dim, as did the headlights, and my car died when I pulled in to drop him off. We got a jump from him, and we decided to try to make it home, we made it all the way to the entrance ramp of 95, when I died again. Got another jump [heck we were blocking one of the 95 turning lanes], and got a bit down 95 till we died, pulled over to the emergency lane]. One of the service towtrucks happened to be there and said they'd jump us, i knew there was no hope but said sure, went a whole 500 feet then [we were a mile from palm beach lakes blvd exit]. So we decided to try to find someone to take us home, and come back in the morning to take care of the car. Luckily, I called my friend ewenicorn who said she happened to be on her way to west palm to pick up her ex, and would take us home. Perfect timing, and she got there fast too, thanks. Then we had to go over to my friend Mark's and feed his cat, as he was out of town.

I called in sick Monday so I could take care of the car situation.

Liz drove me up there Monday afternoon and jumped me, and I made it to Sears in the mall, BARELY, as the car died as I was pulling into the auto center, and I coasted into the service spot :-) I told them what happened, and thought it was the alternator. The idiot there said no, its your battery its dead, so since i got that battery less then a year ago they replaced it for free [well $1.59 for the disposal charge], and THEN goes, your alternator is dead, I'm like I told you. I asked how much that was, and they were like at least $300, so I said screw it, as it sounded a little high, and since they said at least, it would probaly be at least 350 or so. I called Mark on the way home, and asked if he knew the price, and he said if i would get one, he'd put it in for me. So I went to his house [after tryign bennet auto and they were out], and good thing I did go there, cause by that time my battery was almost dead. We went to Discount Auto, they didn't have it in stock but called another store, and told us it would be like 40 minutes, to go back and remove the old alternator. We went back and Mark began to remove it. We couldn't figure out how to get it out, besides the fact it was hot as fuck. Eventually after bangign on it for a long time, etc, he figured out the trick to getting it off, as it wasn't like any other cars he had removed the alternator on. By this time, another friend, Kelly, arrived and we decided to go over to Discount Auto to check on it [it was WAY past 40 minutes by this time]. We get there, and they had the wrong one, they said there were 2 types for my car, and the guy must of brought the wrong one, so they say we'll get someoen to run for it, we're like where is the store? It turned out to be palmetto and 441 so we picked it up there. By this time it was getting dark, so he had to install it with just some lights, which made it more difficult. The end result being everything works great now. We then went to eat at Fridays.

    Thanks to everyone that helped.

We'll see if that cut worked, so that was my update, hope everyone else is doing well.

    The Weekend
Hello everyone. I just figured I'd update.

Not too much going on here, besides I saw a few movies this weekend. On Friday went to dinner with<nevesis and some of his friends, then went to a movie. We saw Paycheck, it was ok, decent movie, even though Ben Affleck can't act worth anything, but there was plenty of action that made it decent. Saturday I did a few things around the house such as laundry, picked up the dining room, etc, exciting stuff, got a haircut and then Alan [http://www.aj5.org] asked if I wanted to see a movie that night. I said sure, since I didn't have anything planned, we saw Bad Santa, it was funny. Luckily I got in, he bought his ticket and then I went to buy mine and the machine told me it was sold out, so we were trying to find what other movie was playing at the same time [there were none], so we tried a different machine just for the heck of it, and it worked, dumb computers. Today I didn't do too much, just relaxed, did a few other things around the house, and am bored now, since nothing is on tv, I might head to bed in a few. Hope everyone is doing well.

    Neon Failure
This is on 441 and Glades at the Clock Restaurant. Noticed the other day driving by and thought it was hysterical. You'd think they'd of fixed it by now, but its still broken 4 days later (and who knows how long its been broken)
